can someone help me? Schwab is my broker. I currently have no free cash, and the transfer from my bank account won't settle until Tuesday. It says on my broker that I have about $15k I can "borrow". Does this mean I can buy stocks tomorrow, and I will owe schwab money? Will it just get covered the next day when my cash comes in? What is the downside to this? Thanks!
