Pic related announced his move yesterday Copypasting something I wrote earlier as to why his move impacts the price
>He runs Global Macro Investor and is followed by a lot of institutional hedgefund managers The reason his name has become much more known lately is because he founded RealVision Finance along with his friends Grant Williams, Damian Horner and Remi Tetot He lives right next to his friend Hugh Hendry for example if you know who he is, famous for having shorted the 2008 financial crisis while working at a big London bank and is now set for life
>Institutions follow GMI and what he has to say, and now after for a long time speaking positively about Bitcoin (and mostly only Bitcoin while being positive to cryptos as a whole), he's come out and said he's hedging his wealth solely with Bitcoin. He's talked about the coming dollar-crisis, inflation, great reset, etc and hasn't seen any other good hedge against it than Bitcoin. Gold some but even Gold will be impacted. Bitcoin is the only asset that's "up and coming" and this moment will be perfect for its adaptation and the great reset is talkin about cryptocurrencies themselves, so it'll be a rocket ship he's saying
>Yesterday he announced this move and it's a big deal Guy and the people in his near vicinity are worth several billions themselves. Imagine if they all placed orders to buy Bitcoin simultaneously, which they probably did. Of course the price will increase >Saylor had to buy Bitcoin over the course of weeks for just $400M in order not to affect the price A big influx in buy-orders like this definitely impacts the price
His move WILL impact the price and further hype will drive more buyers but it WILL come down Take your profits and/or short the market to ~19k. Don't buy now Don't be stupid Best regards
I'm not a trader and a brainlet, could you spoonfeed me how this is bearish for the price, especially since (supposedly) not done buying? Also who the fuck is stupid enough to announce a move like that before having executed it 100%?
David Hill
Raoul is not a crypto whale you stupid fuck, some big money could fuck him if they really wanted to. You're an absolute dumb fuck thinking his money is moving this market - the social media hype does help though.
Aaron Diaz
They are going to dump this shit all over retard's heads sometime soon.
Andrew Perez
You really think they are in for just a quick pump and dump within a few days?
Levi Walker
They are done buying >Influential guy in a place full of billionaires announces he's all-in on Bitcoin >This means almost by default some of the billionaires around him probably will follow suit >Executes trade almost instantly >Price shoots up >Question is how many billionaires followed his lead Either we plateau to a new high (19-19,5k) or we'll come back down soon This wasn't a sustainable rally It literally started at 7:00 Little Cayman time (where they're all at) Why would a rally just start at that exact, precise time? There was no news during the weekend, no news leading up to the rally, it just started immediately at 7:00 when the banks all opened
It's cause there was a huge influx in buy orders
The way you can it's enough to move the price is because Michael Saylor's talked about when he made his purchase several times He said in order to not affect the price when he bought for $400M (a few weeks ago) he had to literally execute the trade piecemeal over the course of a few weeks He did $10M/day at a time I think, dispersed over the course of the day
Now imagine if Raoul Pal made his move (all-in) instantly. Sold all his gold and went all-in on Bitcoin Lets say he made his move with a few hundred million dollars Now lets say some of his wealthy friends did so as well (Hugh Hendry, a few hundred millions, Grant Williams, etc, this guy doesn't just make a move, let alone announce it without some friends doing as he does as well, guy writes the Global Macro Investor and institutions read his paper)
So you can draw your own conclusion Guy makes a huge all-in move and announces it yesterday. Today when banks open 7:00 price shoots up
Makes you think Most trades do as Saylor did because who the fuck wants to buy it at a premium price but this retard announced it and God knows how many followed his lead and/or did it alongside with him because all-in Bitcoin
>Twitter's top 10 trending moves the market >Institutional investors don't move the market Unbelievably retarded
Tyler Gonzalez
>new high >still bearish don't ever try to trade financial markets
Josiah Jones
>thinks Raoul is pumping a local top on BTC just kys
Gabriel Hill
I'm only bearish the bullrun of today retard read the fucking post Imagine not shorting it to make a quick buck is this shithole beyond saving?
Jayden Cooper
Raoul isn't the one doing the pumping nigger it's the institutions that read GMI which are plentiful what the fuck is your problem? Saylor said $400M was affecting the price you don't think >$400M could move the price? Nigger Bitcoin's entire market cap is only $200B. Tesla is worth more still Retarded fucking retard
With all of this instructional pressure over the last few weeks, do you think this upcoming cycle will be drastically different than the 2 cycles prior?
Christopher Scott
dude you're a fucking idiot.
Joshua Edwards
you’re too retarded
Lucas Hughes
Yes very much so Not just because of additional attention but more so because of the current economic landscape Central banks are seriously working on cryptocurrencies of their own and the debt can't go any lower. Last bullrun didn't see negative interest rates and printing going on extremes like we see today because of covid
Something needs to be done thus the "great reset" and people will flee with their capital to save whatever they can and that is what's going to drive bitcoin upwards Normies won't be what'll push it up but capital flight from reflation and an inflation that is all but official in 2021
Henry Lewis
If we assume you are correct (and the evidence you did post is definitely compelling), then why is this still bearish? The billionaires are not buying to trade, but rather to long term hold hence why youre able to see this data in the market because they likely just market bought. They dont care if it dips to 19k in the short term, but rather they expect fiat currencies to further devalue and BTC to eventually hit 100k. The fact that Paul Tudor Jones and Druckenmiller have bought means that BTC is a known quantity in the hedge fund community for a while now. Why are you suggesting to short something for a few thousand dollar gain when theres a strong possibility that any day a new set of billionaires announce they are holding?
good short in terms of a short-term play that is that this bullrun is not an organic bullrun that'll go on forever It's a short term one that's worth shorting because it will go down and revert to mean People were thinking it was organic and would continue to go up from here like the weeks past but there wasn't anything organic about it so it was worth shorting for today
Make decent gains $1000-$1500 using leverage and then cash out EOD and go long instead at this point however it's a bit too late It was very high and might, best-case scenario go down to where it was this morning, but I don't think it will because new capital might revert to a higher mean

Here's a tip retard, most money in crypto is actually Chinese (my guess 50 - 60%). The Chinese bond market is currently imploding, and they are using any method to get money out of the country. It's literally 2016 all over again. Chinese capital flight started the last bull then later ICO gains injected it with steroids.
Mason Rodriguez
the bull run is organic but will not go on forever. We are seeing low BTC liquidity at exchanges and each week there is an announcement from either a company or individual in which their action is having the net effect of less BTC available to buy. The price will increase until long term hodlers and miners dump followed by another long bear market until the next halving. These bull markets are organic because they are programmed into the asset. I agree we can still see a dip back but the tradeoff is that you would ruin your gains because the trading can result in you being forced to buy back in at a higher price or receiving more of a tax burden because your gains will be taxed as short term rather than long term (this argument doesnt apply if you just got into BTC)
Levi Bailey
this which is also why there are some merits to Tether FUD but also tether is used as one of the main on ramps to crypto for people in china
Jacob Nelson
So big guys are buying in. Though If I'm holding for 1yr+ why would I sell now again? I don't understand...you say that theirs big buyers coming in .... so sell??? You really think these guys are going to dump that fucking hard? If bigger and bigger fish come into the market I feel that eventually drops and climbs will only get more and more stable over time.
