I have a decent paying job and am putting every penny I can into retirement/stocks. If I can't retire at least by 50, I'll just take what money I have and have a hedonistic 10 years and end it. I should be able to retire at 50 at the pace I'm going though, minus catastrophic stock market resets.

wat? unless im going to some kind of restaurant (which the company pays for btw and still counts as on the clock) im only spending a half hour on lunch. i also get in a half hour late and leave a half hour early so technically i only work 7 hours a day and only really do actual "work" for half of that. being an engineering technician is pretty sweet not gonna lie.

commute is an hour each way but what can ya do, i like where i live but i could move to the same town as my job if i really wanted to make the commute like 5-10 minutes instead. idk where the fuck you guys are working where you need a 3.5 hour commute, commiefornia or some shit?
