Anyone use this?
6% APY on BTC
I have about 1/5 my stack on here.
What ya'll think?

>yes goyim, let me store your BTC goyim so we can practice usury for others taking loans out
>make sure to report all those interest gains, goyim
>oh did I mention we now know how much BTC you hold?
I've used them in the past, they pay out and had no problem withdrawing.
Unless you're buying from ATM's, the guv knows how much BTC you hold.
I buy my BTC from estate sales.
Yeah I use it, not a bad service at all, APY is reasonable and better than just holding it.
what payment interest method do you niggers use?
They just credit your account with "Bitcion".
The amount of Bitcoin you hold with them just goes up.
I dunno, I'm making about $50/m with 10k invested. I may ride it for a while but probably won't hold it here for long.
you can choose, tho. wax thinking gold might be nice.
Don't use this company they don't give a fuck about your security or privacy.
They gave all my info to hackers who SIM swapped me, and were sketchy assholes the whole time I dealt with them.
They required a surprise facial scan for me to withdraw.
DO NOT USE BLOCKFI THEY ARE A FUCKING JOKE.
They hired a new female marketing employee who had complete access to their database.
She was then "hacked" and everybody's balance, address, phone number, everything went to the darknet.
I had over 300k in the platform and I was targeted repeatedly.
They didn't offer any help and lawyer talked their way out of it and I got fucked over
The more KYC the more I trust the exchange. The ones not following strict regulations are the most likely to be seized or shut down. How do you know they are the ones responsible for the sim swap.
Oh snap when was this. I started using them probably about 3 months ago.
You got any source for that?
I spoke with flori Marquez
She called me to smooth it over but just ended up being a cunt.
Enjoy your information being for sale then becuase blockfi has proven themselves as an unsecured platform.
I got sim swapped a day before they disclosed the breach.
They only disclosed it because so many blockfi customers got SIM swapped.
It happened in late May
When I tried it a year ago they had a 2 week processing time for withdrawals and a shitty app so I tried celsius instead.
A year later it turns out blockfi is bleeding money and selling personal information while celsius gave much higher returns than they said.
Everyone here ignoring that custodial methods of currency holding have existed for centuries lol. They're fine but not bulletproof. All of them have varying levels of insurance. I wouldn't put all my money in just one. Spread them out between Blockfi, nexo, CDC, and Celsius for best results.
Something Flori Marquez did that pissed me off was she said I wasn't even a top 100 account holder like my issues were insignificant.
Fuck this God damn company
Nice source faggot, sounds like a dumb larp.
oy VEY
sounds like she dabbed pretty hard on you and you're feeling smol. it's ok, fren. try again. you can use my referral code if you need it?
Lol. That's a crazy thing to say, but it was probably provoked after you said something outrageous?
Thanks for the info tho user. I'm probably going to milk a couple hundred more out of here and go full cold. People trying to make interest off of asset with infinite upside is silly anyways.
Google blockfi hack
They pretty much just do securities lending but with crypto instead. Its a profitable business based upon lending to market makers, giving loans to those who want to short the market, and arbitrage.
Overall the real risk is just like any other centralized exchange. They may report your details to the gov or they could go bankrupt and be unable to pay you your coins back due to bad decisions. I see those as a tail risk and the benefit is i can almost make enough to pay my full expenses based upon the crypto i hold. Its worth the risk to split some of your holdings across various services like this in my opinion. Dont go all in with any of these services though.
so you never got reimbursed at ALL? what were you holding on there? BTC or anything else? I actually didn't believe you until this.
Yeah got dabbed on pretty hard
SIM swapped and everything
Blockfi goes hard.
Did you not have your wallet address whitelisted?
I'm assuming someone drained your account.
If you're getting paid enough in APY to cover all of your expenses, then you don't need to collect APY in the first place.
I got my money back, but my privacy is fucked.
I dont use social media or anything, not public in crypto at all and now criminals know my status and where I live.
I asked Jameson lopp for help and he quoted me 10k plus whatever expenses moving and everything else might be.
Blockfi caused me a lot of problems.
Did they offer you anything? Probably not right otherwise they're setting a precedent. You could threaten them will legal action, maybe put a proposal together, ask them for some punitive damages, don't be too greedy, worth a shot.
