The novelty of reverse investment vehicles like SPAC has resulted in a lot of inconsistent growths because they are just new and the relatively unknown mechanics of such investment vehicles resulted in a lot of shitshows like the HYLN SPAC situation.
I don't invest in SPACs because they are SPAC's actually. I only invest in EV SPAC plays because I think EV SPACs will become the real flavor of the year in 2021 given that Biden will start getting a shitload more EV batteries from China.

two words: temp work. easiest way to get your foot in the door of a corporation. that's what i did, im an engineering technician at a global semiconductor company and basically went temp-to-perm.
you get paid and you get to prove your worth. it's on you to actually be good at what you do and put in the effort, though. worst case scenario it lets you build your resume at a solid company that you can then use to get a job elsewhere more easily to fulfill the "X years experience" requirement.

THCB's merger with Microvast is an a great play because it is a 100% Chinese run operation. And we all know that Chinese EV/battery plays always skyrocket, moreso with Biden's plans to increase investment into Chinese EV batteries.
you buy it early based on solid FA and then you sell all of it when it pumps if you don't believe in it ("it's just a PnD") or you sell half and hold the other half after it pumps with a stop loss at break even to hedge your bets, but potentially profit more on the second half. im doing the latter on GME currently.
if it's an actual penny stock or something truly memey, a good strat is to sell half whenever it doubles in price. if you do that you are literally just playing with house money after that point, you own free stock.
