First got into Link at $0.20. Most of my money is in BTC and ETH, but I have bought a few shitcoins along the way. Link was one of them at the time. I have not seen a project as promising until now, and we know how the Link story went. What's everyone's thoughts on API3, and possibly having the same success story as Link?
API3 Reminds Me of When I First Found Link

Seems like a really exciting project but hesitant given how much higher the valuation is at launch.
congrats on buying vaporware. API3 is nothing more than a very expensive whitepaper right now. Prove me wrong.
Obvious shill pajeet campaign. Kys faggot
just wait
Copy paste of chainlink code on a piece of toilet paper wich is $200mln market cap. No, thanks, i better give all my money to flannel man
this thread reminds me of scams, kys pajeet
>He doesn't know
>He thinks it's another rug pull
Is that not how all alt coins start out?
They solve the same problem, but are first party oracles instead of third party. Seems like something that would be beneficial as blockchain goes mainstream.
API3 is a money grab. They know they can't compete with LINK but recognize they can capitalize on a bull market with the "chainlink killer" narrative
Why are so many people who hold link such faggot cultists? Just buy both
I definitely see the potential for a money grab, but their white paper actually seems like a competitive/ or potentially better alternative.
I do have both :)
Kleros launched with 3 DAPPS and a 400 page book as its whitepaper it only had a 5 million marketcap with 60% circulating supply anything under 50% is greedy and a pajeet scam.
what alt coins do you recommend, fren?
Based
the new stablecoin, locked at 1.30
Chainlink already has tons of data providers running their own oracles. API3 is bringing nothing new to oracles
Chainlink is vaporwave
>why would you buy Ford Motor Company shares when you can buy Nigger Joe's Wheelless Tricycle. Just buy both.
One of the takeaways from the interview they had on youtube, is that it's a first party oracle which means that a node operator can't tamper with the data, and another key takeaway is that, its easier and cheaper to deploy and maintain than chainlink, its basically free and a normie in aws can deploy it on their app or organization by pasting the API and feeding it with data. I love both chainlink and API3, so lets see how it goes.
Any temptation I had to put any money into API3 vanished after that ICO fumble. The temptation exists because API3 will be the first actual legitimate competitor to chainlink, because that spot is currently occupied by band and they're a complete joke. It's incredibly likely that API3's market cap will become comparable with band's. But the same people fumbling two ICOs in a row? That's a bad omen.
To be fair, that was on Mesa. I know it does not look good, but the fact someone could attack the solver and that was not thought of is insane in my opinion. I assume API3 trusted them as a professional, and they fucked up. Now anyone who uses it to ICO is a complete idiot :)
Consider yourself lucky they fumbled the ico and saved you from buying this piece of shit.
Fuck off Timo but at the same time thanks for being a terrible shill and a shit human. if it weren't for your actions we wouldn't have known to stay so far away from clcg and now api3
You'll never be a woman.
>team of literal biztards led by a turkroach
>VCs bought at .20
>sale exploited by whale hacker
>DAO token
>no testnet
>completely pointless
the link killer is here guys
I hold LINK, API3, and ERG; all different solutions to the same problem: getting reliable data on-chain.
Niggers remember ETH but forget about Antshares, ADA, EOS, TRX, etc.
Niggers remember BTC but forget about LTC, BCH, BCHSV, etc.
You're gonna make an assload of cash on LINK this rally but the competitors are going to go on legendary runs unimaginable at the moment. You'd be stupid not to take advantage of this.
Hey hey hey.
I looooooveeee api threeeeeeee.
why would institutions want it to be easy for a normie to deploy though?
whitepaper is quite nice.
