Currently Chainlink has a minimal number of nodes due to most defi projects not needing more than x amount of nodes due to cost etc. Many link holders that were planning on running a node have since given up that thought of passive income from a large link stack and now just hoping it continues its price appreciation.

Enter K3PR. K3PR is very similar to link in that it is a utility/work token. It is used as the currency for K3PR tasks. Keeper's jobs include oracle work, calling functions, arbitrage, and endless other simple tasks. Most defi projects use or plan to use Keeper for important continuous tasks.

enough about keeper for now...how does chainlink come into play.....

Chainlink already has decentralized node software that is proven. Keeper v2 will be fully ran by Chainlink nodes. The opportunities here are countless. To start, expect the number of chainlink nodes to not multiply. Expect the number of jobs to multiply. While you once thought you would never run a chainlink node...that has changed as of today.
