Really? I haven’t had any other issues with my body after having it. I alrdy has some lung damage due to military BS but I haven’t noticed anything get worse. I thought it was just the flu kicking my ass but after a few months of Covid I was just like damn nah that’s def what it was.

Have any of you actually had COVID?

I did. Felt flu-like symptoms on a Friday night, isolated myself at home, tested positive the next week, "worked" from home for roughly 2 weeks, tested negative after ~14 days and was back in the office within 2 weeks after testing positive (had a negative test + no more symptoms). The first 2-3 days were the worst, felt achy and freezing cold (like a flu), then after that subsided I lost my sense of smell and taste (completely lost it, have never experienced anything like it before) and became very congested. After the cold symptoms went away, it was basically all done and I knew I'd test negative on my next COVID test (which I did)

I cannot be more adamant that COVID is a huge, huge fucking nothingburger. I realize that the disease can be more/less severe depending on someone's underlying health conditions (just like the flu, etc.) but holy shit. So much of this pandemic is just manmade hysteria. The fear and paranoia caused by people taking the panic porn and hysterical media at face value is just fucking embarrassing.
