This might be incomprehensible to you... I live in a very small but excellent apartment with a view, that I own. I own ONE car. And ONE motorcycle. And millions of dollars in crypto, stock, and other apartments. My sister asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year. I said nothing. And that was the truth. I don't want or need anything.
I am happy. Happiest without others. I don't WANT to impress anyone. I enjoy being almost as clever as your average hedge fonds managers and just making money. That I will never use for anything other than what I like. And what I like I have.

A self sustaining floating fortress manned with top scientists and engineers that experiment with emerging technologies. Workers over time build a drone fleet around the fortress until it's the dominant military force on the planet.
I take out a few US drones as a demonstration of capability and then offer terms of surrender. The only military target is protected so their nukes can only hurt civilians, any retaliation like that would undermine their authority instead of strengthening it.
After the US surrenders and the rest follow I partition the globe into small ethnic nations that all focus on local sustainability but still cooperate and trade. A three man council of level 20+ clerics chooses the next emperor.
