Alright. So I just graduated from college and I am about to start making decent money for once in my godamn pathetic life. And the first thing I need to do is definitely buy a car. The one I currently have will probably not even last another six months. So I'm gonna go ahead and ask the age-old ultimate question. Finance vs Lease?
Lease vs Finance Car
Buy a used car for $4000.
This like a million times
that's what I did for the car I currently own and it did not turn out so well.
/thread
I picked up a 2002 jag in january for $1000 and it only took another $750 to get running and street legal, including everything at the DMV.
You bought American, didn't you? My 2009 Nissan's been going strong for four years and I paid $4500.
If you have a bad meal, you'll never eat out again?
This. user, you don't need a brand new car, but you don't need to buy a total piece of shit either. The cost you save by buying used is significant, and that extra cash can go towards better things.
I bought a car for 700 usd or smth and I’ve probably spent 800-900 usd maintaining it over 4 years.
If you can find a decent used take it. Know what to look for.
Cars are a liability full stop, leasing/financing is a liability 2x
get a second hand beater, don’t waste money for liabilities
>you're monthly payment
opinion discarded
>buy a VW diesel
>drive it until you hit 500k miles
>keep driving in apocalyptic wasteland
no, I got civic. to be honest my car is still functioning but I just feel like I deserve a better one. I worked so hard in school I deserve a little bit of a better car
Certified pre-owned, about 3 years old is really the most based option. The payments are affordable, the car is new enough, and zero maintenance. You can usually buy an extended warranty, which covers fucking everything for a relatively minimal cost.
Sucks, but most people just don't do the math.
you deserve nothing.
hmm I'm going to look into this
Based. You are going to make it, fren
>I worked so hard in school
Do you fucking think that means the slightest bit of shit in the world? How about a fucking rice good who spent the last 1000 lives bending over in snake invested mosquito larvae pools planting one of the most dogshit crops in the history of the world so he could get the PLEASURE of going home to his retarded dog faced wife. DID YOU WORK THAT HARD? NO. And even if you did would it give you the right to be a fucking retard and finance a fucking car?
>if you work hard, you get more
That's not how things work. KYS retard.
I bet these people can't afford a car
Save and buy, you FUCKING NIGGER.
>afford a car
Can you?
>worked so hard
>feel like I deserve
ngmi
Doesn't sound like you can afford a car if you have to finance or lease
>but I just feel like I deserve a better one. I worked so hard in school I deserve a little bit of a better car
NGMI with that attitude.
i get where you're coming from op. cars are a lottery. you get good ones and bad ones. ever heard of a 'friday ford'? it's just luck really, other than the obvious. not what you want to hear but the guys saying cheap japanese are right. buy cheap, if it's shit then rinse and repeat. if you want a dick extension then just do that and stay poor.
Literal jobless niggers can "afford" to lease/finance a car. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars a month for something you spend a couple hours in a day at most.
Buy a reliable used car. My preference is $10,000 or less that is 5 years or newer and run that mother fucker into the ground.
Don't. Live frugally, buy real estate, get rich.
When you're 60 buy a helicopter. Problem solved.
Absolute cheapest option is to buy a car used, drive it gently and later sell it for almost the same amount.
If you are insisting on getting a new car, always lease over finance. Always.
There's a reason everyone who works in the industry leases instead of buys new cars.
tfw financing a new car in 2014 and fully paid by shitcoin profits in 2017
