Any Zig Forumsraelis here who have any predictions as to the outcome of this city? Brexit and covid is surely going to cause quite the economic ruckus, but will the city recover and remain a global financial hub or will it fall like the rest of the UK when the global fiat currency scam finally collapses?
This city has seemingly weathered almost every storm for the past 2,000 years, and to be frankly I do kind of miss the pulse of the city (unironically), but I'm not too sure if it is worth moving back there especially considering the UK is devoid of any economic substance in 2020 other than finance, law, and some tech.
london is the centre of finance in our current world order. thats not going away unless you kill all the jews and the banks

Lived here for 7 years, moving back to Australia in June next year.

Is it because you are sick of the city or is it because you prefer Australia?
I left because I think it is a bit of a shithole and far too expensive even for a well-paid wagie (was on £100k-ish).
Nolan Peterson
London is a shithole like most capitals full of immigrants and foreigners
Thankfully they stay away from the countryside

Boris Johnson is a retard. The £ is crashing. There is no productive capacity. Finance corporates are moving out because of Brexit. The City is dead and commercial real estate is fucked for the foreseeable future. Our police officers and law enforcement have no real authority or respect. Everywhere outside London is literally a shithole and now London is a ghost town. Cost of living is ridiculously high.
Yes, its ogre.

You have no business being in London unless you are A) A Politician B) Working in the Financial Sector C) All Work No Play
Hudson Richardson
If you’re outside the absolute centre of London then if you are white you are a minority race. Sad times. I don’t feel safe there and it’s only getting worse.
Caleb Ross
>Finance corporates are moving out because of Brexit.
Is this actually happening though? From what I understand the UK wanted to pursue the strategy of being a Singapore-on-Thames for the EU, i.e. going full tax-haven mode. But maybe this is difficult to do while simultaneously bankrolling gibs for the masses of people on welfare in the UK.

>B) Working in the Financial Sector
Can relate to this. Ceiling for tech jobs is roughly £150k a year but the average banker bro earns that just as base, with a bonus of at least half that.
Ridiculous if you ask me but it is as you say a city of finance and nothing else.
