mentioned CRSP yesterday because I bought and sold it at 100 and it proceeded to rally to 150 without me over the last week or so. it's a hard to understand business though, and still risky, and I've written papers on CRISPR but I still don't even understand myself what kind of moat or control over the technology the company has over competitors

Decay is laughably insiginificat compared to TQQQ returns
The Nasdaq goes up over time = TQQQ goes up much more over time. Simple as.
Is Wall Street ignoring the risk that a higher stock market with a worse of plurality of the population will lead to far left political ideology like socialism and intense redistribution, anti-trust and regulation. I feel like every day we break a record as more "joe six packs" go broke staring at the tv as rich people cheer the market and just slowly building up a pile of anger and contempt with each passing day.
>No, because if nasdaq ever crabs for a while and then only goes up at end of year for example, then TQQQ will have decayed much more due to the leveraged nature. How so? Suppose the price fluctuates like this QQQ, TQQQ 5, 5 10, 15 5, 5 10, 15 As you can see the leveraged version doesn't do worse in a sideways market. Only performs worse when the base asset has a net downward motion.

Jannies ain't going to be helpful here, they're as clueless what they're looking at as the rest of us.

Where my Potstocks bros?? This is just a bear shakeout. Prepare yourselves for the biggest green candle of your lives on monday.
How do you people swing trade and day trade without losing it all, I'm too much of a pussy to invest in anything other than guaranteed returns shit like mutual funds
Most of us have lost it all, you learn what you did wrong and start over
Wyatt Thompson
bros should I just rotate into ETFs now or keep playing my game? i think i got lucky, but im definitely not bad at this and my timing seems solid. didn't even use options..
fuck it ill just aim for 50k first and then decide
Nah its not my first round at the Rodeo. I know what I'm doing. When I lost all my money there was always a point where I could've taken profits (which I usually do) but the greed made me hodl for longer than my usual window. Then I just got emotional and kept trying to "make up the losses" in 1 or 2 big trades instead of stepping back and picking up where I left off, which is always dumb.

the all-time chart is just one big head and shoulders lol

After wiping out one or two dozen times it becomes a routine of getting up, dusting yourself off, and loading another $2000 in the account again. Not to mention doing shit like taking out your principal and trading on gains.
>be euro >bought some stonks on the NYSE >they moved up >but didn't made any money, or even am in the red even though the stonks are green because your money is getting more and more worthless get your shit together, holy shit, at this rate I'll be able to buy your country with my coffee money
>Is Wall Street ignoring the risk that a higher stock market with a worse of plurality of the population will lead to far left political ideology like socialism and intense redistribution, anti-trust and regulation. No, the closest to that happening was Bernie and Mike Bloomberg DDoS'd the primary with his billions the moment he became a threat.
Landon Morgan
Sir why is there missing information? Are you try to scam me sir??
Survivorship bias. People who got burned by investing into risky stocks park their shit in an index fund and never come back to /smg/. You can tell because people here only shill ticker symbols and the deepest analysis you will see of "why" they are shilling something is a support and resistance level, a P/E ratio or a news article that may or may not be priced in already.
Jaxson Sullivan
holy fuck

Some of them, sure. But I'm talking about true leftist grassroots stuff. Occupy Wallstreet 2 but this time for real, etc etc.
Hey guys I have a question about options trading. What's stopping me from putting all my money in 2023 super-in-the-money SPY options? Like the options that have a 0% break even point. As long as SPY goes above the current market price within the next two years I won't lose money, and I can just keep cashing out with my 100x gains and reinvesting in the same stat. Am I crazy or is there any problems with this idea?
>weed decriminalization passes house Is this bullish or bearish for weed stocks?
Brody Davis
So basically you're full of shit because you can't exercise 500k in options?
Austin James
If index funds are obviously the safer and more proven route, why do people continue to waste money on gambling, just go to a casino instead and have fun looking at the flashing lights of a slot machine
Jason Lee
If I were anywhere else in the world right now I would be longing everything against USD right now on FOREX, stupid euro fuck head
Let me give you some numbers because what you said is very wrong.
So let's say QQQ goes down 1% from 100 to 99, then goes up 1% again to 99.99.
TQQ goes down 3% from 100 to 97% then up 3% to 9.91%. QQQ decayed by .01%, but TQQQ decayed at a squared rate for .09%. For example a 5x leveraged QQQ would go down to 95% then up to 99.75% (95 * 1.05 = 99.75). This is the decay in action.
As far as long term holding leveraged ETF's go, TQQQ is probably the most reasonable one because of QQQ's 9% yearly performance, but for anything else it's just asking to get punished.
Me too. Especially the ones who work on wall street

The premium nigga. When you add the premium to the strike price it turns out your break even is quite different.

FFS SNDL, go up

I like all the panic from the fomo'ed RYCEY knobs. Just hold you retards, look at the october chart and stop worrying. In the meantime, get back to work wagie
So far. But that was before we were unapologetically bullish at BAD NEWS. Stocks rising to fight speculated inflation is one thing, but this just unapologetic bull run money printer for no reason other than that we know the market won't be allowed to fail and people will spend their stimi on stocks again. If enough people realize that it could be bad politically
Jose Clark
as long as leftism is controlled by ~diversity and inclusion~ bs it won't be what takes hold. the populist anti-globalist anti-rich anti-old money fuckers isn't gonna come from the same place as last time
Landon Wood
57%, was considering buying more before earnings but we keep going up
If we dip on earnings I might SELL FSLR and NVDA for more GME
>FOREX Meh, not touching that jewish shit even with a pole. The equation is simple, when your currency is worthless, I buy your companies for cheap, thus benefiting from a boost once there's a reversal. When my money is worthless, I just stick to my zone's companies. I could hedge against change, mostly through ETFs that do this extremely well, but it comes with a cost, seemingly small at first, but it adds up a lot over the years.
Ryan Cooper
lol what kinda cuck broker is that
Jack Collins
With that much capital needed why not just buy SPY shares and sell calls with them? Options depreciate over time, but shares are always there and only fluctuates.
Chase Green
Is INAQ meme shit? I have it on my watch list and its probably from here while drunk again. I cant find any good news on it that dosnt sound like a scam.
