Bruh, encryption provides security to the entire internet; banking, stocks, email, etc.

One surefire way to know if someone DOESN'T have an actual quantum computer, is if he tells you, he has a an actual quantum computer.

If the CCP was in possession of a quantum computer, they wouldn't tell anyone. They would STFU about it, kill everybody who knows about and is not needed to operate it, incarcerate all the scientist they need to operate it and then read the US's and all other encrypted communication in cleartext for as long as possible.
