I hold 10k stinkies and need about $150k after taxes (30%) in April 2021, I'm having a hard time parting with my stinkies since I don't want to go under the making 10k stack thats why I didnt take out the necessary amount at $19 and now I need to sell even more stinkies to get that amount baka should I gamble that it will be higher within 5 months or should I go with the safe bet and liquidate now? I need some adviceeeee

Five months obviously
Had you said one month maybe sell but in 5 we are at least 16$
what do you need the money for and what is your income like currently?

There is no reason to sell. Put your link up on Aave, and borrow Tether from it. Best of both worlds: borrowing is not taxed, and you owe nothing if Tether collapses.
I'll gamble on the hold then
school overseas I'm tired of just waiting for link to moon so I'd like to keep myself busy for 2 years, my income is 0 and I have about $200 in my bank
Lmao that user is memeing on you. Oldfags dumped their bags. Link will be $7 in 6 months.
get a job. I wouldn't sell your link the 10k stack could be worth 1 million in 2 or 3 yrs.
Linkies are used to pay for querying oracles. Fair price for querying oracles has been discovered.
Hey idiot, I was serious. Don't sell a single Link, ever. Use a decentralised lending platform.
oh I miss typed in the OP I need $15k not $150k
That doesn't change anything.
Never sell OP. Every LINK you sell is basically stealing $1000 from future you at a minimum, and really it's stealing lifelong passive income once staking gets implemented.
If you need $15k, get a job. You can earn that much by then. If not, take a loan and also get a job and pay back the loan with your job. You really shouldn't be investing large sums if you don't have adequate cash flow and savings to cover your regular and irregular expenses.
fair enough
>I'll gamble on the hold then
It's not even gambling here. You're profiting on the biggest startup in the crypto field while not doing shit to contribute.
>take a loan and also get a job and pay back the loan with your job. You really shouldn't be investing large sums if you don't have adequate cash flow and savings to cover your regular and irregular expenses.
I guess it could be possible to get a loan gonna try it that way, I didn't really invest a large sum I just happened to be here in -17 with $500 just before the bull run started
>It's not even gambling here
yeah I don't mean that link is a gamble I don't think its going anywhere but up in the long run but within a 6 month span I have no idea, we could crab for a real long time like we have before
>school overseas I'm tired of just waiting for link to moon so I'd like to keep myself busy for 2 years, my income is 0 and I have about $200 in my bank
how old are you, what do you want to study and why is it so expensive? selling link will be a mistake that you look back on in 3 years time, any old fag will tell you the same thing. You should focus on getting an income stream during this time instead of selling your golden tickets
> selling your linkies before staking has even been announced
Just get the coinbase debit card and convert them to USDC that you can spend

I'm 28 I was going to start computer sci this year but I did not get accepted so I figured might as well go study japanese overseas instead of just withering away, I don't think $15k is that expensive? I keep myself busy for 2 years seems pretty good to me
school will net you $2m over 40 years with 45 hour work weeks. Links will net you $2m in 5 years being a NEET.
the choice is obvious
if there's anything you want to study that you'd be willing to spend $10k you'd be better off just teaching yourself. $10k is minimum 200 hours of labor. Is that teacher/school worth 200 hours vs. what you could learn for free online?
Why are you expecting you'll be able to travel? I wanted to travel as well as an 11.4k linkie but covid has fucked all of it up.
could stake it on uniswap until then, would get you an extra 6% or so at their 20% apr I've seen for a few months
>I don't think $15k is that expensive?
you said 150k in the post
If you wanted to study compsci and you're 28, forget about school, you can learn it by yourself if you have a normal level of discipline. The best path imo would be the web dev route to start and pivot towards blockchain/smart contract stuff as soon as you can. You can do it 100% on your own you don't need to sell link to do it
yes I know from a financial stand point its absolutely retarded but at some point you have to do something otherwise you'll succumb to madness I'm at that point that I need to get out
there is no restriction if you have a student visa otherwise its no bueno
>I know from a financial stand point its absolutely retarded but at some point you have to do something otherwise you'll succumb to madness I'm at that point that I need to get out
NGMI. You simply don't have the mindset necessary for financial freedom. You are a slave to your passions.

Where are you seeing 20% apr on Uni? You get .4% pool ownership on Uni in the link/eth pool.
Poldghfvh
*that's with a 10k link stack
ye I typed it wrong its just $15k I need
