Time in the market beats timing the market
Rich people don't talk about how much they make a year because they measure their worth in things like assets which have variable worth because they fluctuate in value. Anyone bragging about how much they make is a poor person trying to impress other poor people.

>when Bitcoin started I mined a couple and then deleted everything because it was just a lark
>when Bitcoin blew up to be worth hundreds I regretted not continuing mining Bitcoin at ground zero but then just moved on
>when Bitcoin came to be worth low thousands I regretted not buying in when it was hundreds but figured it couldn't go much higher than that
>now Bitcoin is worth almost $20k and I'm doubting everything I ever thought
I've wasted almost 12 years at this point, but I'm still afraid that if I buy in now I'll regret it later. I don't know what to do. Should I just start DCAing into Bitcoin now and never look back? I already max out all my retirement accounts and still have money to spare that I could conceivably invest in BTC.
Spend your money on assets that hold or appreciate in value instead of stuff that loses value, even if it includes a hefty risk. I would be wealthier now if I spend less on night outs and traveling and all that stuff that immediately loses all value

I'm very much a lazy investor. Is it safe enough to just auto-invest using Coinbase and leave the BTC with them while it grows?
why
Just DCA in user, it’s not that hard. End of every month set aside a fixed amount and DCA in to BTC/ETH/+1-2 more alts. 60-30-10%
