Can you guys help me please? I'm new to Uniswap and I have spent half the day trying to google answers.
>I decided to check out Uniswap last August >Added about $100 worth of ETH to Uniswap >Chose to swap with RLC (It was being heavily shilled here at the time) >I see the activity on etherscan, but no balance on Uniswap >Where did the RLC go?
What wallet did you connect your uniswap to Metamask?
Blake Gonzalez
Post public wallet address I'll check it out foryou
Noah Nelson
You need to add the RLC contract address to your metamask, then it'll show up
Julian White
This should be the token contract address you have to add to your metamask to see the tokens: 0x607F4C5BB672230e8672085532f7e901544a7375 Other anons can probably confirm. I've never bought RLC
The etherscan should show the token in your wallet. Metamask won't unless you add the custom token.
Zachary Reed
Unrelated but did you check if you got free uni?
Grayson Peterson
I'm trying to figure that out. I think thats the problem.
Alexander Lopez
You will need to add the token you bought to your metamask wallet using the token contract address.
You may also have 400 free Uni tokens in your wallet, currently worth about 1500 dollars. Do what you want with those....
William Kelly
etherscan does show the tokens in my wallet. How do I get them out?
Adam Morris
Uni balance is 0, so I'm gonna assume no.
Nathaniel King
I don't believe you are this stupid. If you managed to buy RLC with uniswap then I have no idea how you don't know how to swap back. What next level scam is this ?
In case you are that stupid copy the contract address from rlc from etherscan. When uniswap asks you which coin you want to swap put the custom token contract address in and swap it for whatever you want
Ryder Barnes
Unfortunately I am this stupid. There's no balance in Uniswap if I were to try to swap back. I must be missing some step in the process.
Ayden Richardson
Have you connected to Uniswap with Metamask?
Lucas Perez
Go to add token, paste RLC address in, see tokens. Paste RLC contract in uniswap search box to go to RLC uniswap info page, click swap.
Jordan Moore
Yes its connected through Metamask. I can see the transactions on Metamask. But on Uniswap it says I have no balance of RLC.
Angel White
I've tried that several times too.
Alexander Phillips
You might want to restart your browser and metamask. I've had it a few times where it just won't update. Hasn't happened in a while since an update but that might help. I'll hang out in this thread for a bit and try to help you
Henry Torres
So I see the activity on Metamask, but its not listed in the assets. I tried to add a token but RLC is greyed out. I tried to add a custom token and added the contact address and it says Token has already been added.
I did point out early that I am stupid. Please help if you can.
Isaac Peterson
Do your other tokens show on uniswap fine? The insufficient error problem happens to me when there's something "off" with the connection to uniswap from metamask.
The other wallet idea is fine too. Exodus has RLC as an asset so you could just download that, sign in, and see it there. Can also do transfers to/from that way. Exodus has bad swap rates though sometimes so don't use that unless you double check.
Jaxson Collins
This is literally the only transaction that I have done on Uniswap. I was doing it as a test to see how the platform works, which is why I only put a little money in. I thought I would do a swap, swap it back and get an idea of how it works.
Mason Evans
Gotcha. I did the same when I was a babby. If you go to swap ETH to anything, do you see your ETH balance? Are you on v2 of uniswap, not v1?
Isaac Peterson
I hope you didn't use a Uniswap "app". Those are not official, just use the in-browser site DAPP.
Isaiah Ross
OP, i had this problem a while back. It's a known bug. The token says it's already added, but it won't refresh. REstarting metamask didn't work, the only thing I had to do was uninstall and reinstall the chrome extention.
Obviously remember/write down your seed phrase so you don't lose access, but yeah.
Asher Jackson
Dude just buy BTC and write the seed down and check back in 65 years. This is not for you.
Levi Price
I noticed their are several scam sites, this is the one I'm using: app.uniswap.org/#/swap
It doesn't not indicate if its v1 or v2 for me. It doesn't show the ETH balance and where the balances would be there is a circle (like its thinking) but it never populates.
I just installed Exodus, I'm going to try that next.
