i like the theory that Jed's been working with Ripple the whole time and the whole acrimonious split has actually been (on some level at least) kabuki theater, it's like how in pro wrestling there's the "good guy" and the "heel" but they get along in the locker room and train together.
Jed's dumps have been providing steady liquidity/keeping the market cap up and flowing during Ripple's long period of foundation-laying. XLM and XRP are symbiotic and work together as two parts of the same system.
It's just a theory, but somebody posted it in a thread the other day and it resonated.
