There's no water shortage, but it takes manpower and infrastructure to supply clean water. With the way our society works, the question is who's going to pay for that? If the government won't do it, there has to be a profit incentive, so you pay for it, based on CLEAN water supply and demand... Seems retarded, but we pay for a lot of things we need. Real estate, food, and yes, water, are all things we need and great things to invest in because it'll always be that way until these things become so abundant and readily available that they lose any value.
