On Uniswap, you can only trade ERCs and wrapped assets. It already got pushed to its utmost limit over the summer (swap failures/absurdly high fees) and that traffic was just a small sampling of what's to come. ETH's blockchain is not a good platform for hosting a DEX. Even with the performance enhancements ETH 2.0 will bring in mind, they will not be available for another 2-3 years. Even then, L1-ETH based DEXs will still be stuck with ERC tokens and wrapped assets.
Stakenet DEX is the only platform where pairs like BTC/USDT, BTC/ETH, BTC/LINK are feasible and with real assets, instant swaps, and consistently-low fees.

The Lightning swap infrastructure itself is rather sophisticated at this point. Watchtowers and submarine swaps will make using a L2 DEX far more convenient than using a CEX ever could.
