i have done. thailand, cambodia, india, i've even looked into living in the woods in russia. 100k wouldn't last a lifetime even living in a wooden hut in the thai countryside with no running water or electricity, plus then you've got the being murdered for being a 'rich westerner' to consider, and the total lack of healthcare. not possible to retire for 100k
