None of us will live to see that. Nor will our children.

we wont have children anyway, since the JWO decided to genocide us all.

That there's an infinite supply in the universe, perhaps even planets purely made from gold, that bezos and musk are going to be the first multi trillionaires by dumping on your asses behind the scenes before you can catch on

>Intrinsic value
Kek

>it exists
yes
>its real
same as #1 but ok
>it has intrinsic value
NOPE

You win this round Peter

once btc is 20x its current price, and its market cap is similar to golds, nobody in their right mind would prefer gold to bitcoin as money. the last thing gold bugs have to hold onto is its market cap. still a good idea to hold some gold for the sake of diversification tho.

I have never seen gold, sure maybe I have seen metal the color of gold but never actual gold. How do any of us even know that gold is real?

This will never happen.

has been money for thousands of years
still exists when power goes out
finite supply and we're finding less every year
can't be replicated aka forked

It's in the periodic table, atomic number 79.

My favorite thing about Gold is the near total anonymity you have with it.

you're dumb as hell. OP is just ironic/ bait. clue to that is he finished the post with the intrinsic value meme.

A man of taste I see

A man of science I see

Don't listen to others (who push crypto like its holy grail) on this board user. When wartime comes, we'll be laughing.

>How do any of us even know that gold is real?
Only two other metals have the same density as Gold: Tungsten and Uranium. Neither of these will sound anything like Gold when tapped by another piece if metal. Copper and Silver alloys can be used to get a similar sound to Gold, but are only half as dense. It's simply impossible to get something that has both the same density and sound as Gold.

Thanks for those facts realist user

> he hasn’t read how SpaceX will have 1000 Starships in operation by 2030 and can fly if for less than $2m
> He doesn’t know the tech exists for asteroid mining already and the only issue is the logistics, which Starship will solve

>intrinsic value

No it doesn't. It's value, like anything else valuable, gold derives it's value from a convention.
Also, gold is super soft.

>it exists
Which means governments can and have taken it away from you

>the only issue is the logistics
Lol, logistics are like 99% of the entire idea. Asteroid mining is the equivalent of hitting a grain of sand with a slingshot. We also don't even have ways of accurately tracking asteroids... And can only see them coming or going from one direction (the sun has to be behind the observer, and even then only about 10% of light on average is reflected back). So you basically need to catch it as it flies by.

Thats not even considering the fact that a lot of asteroids aren't solid objects, but rather just a collection of loose rocks/ice/dust/debris, and any attempt to land on them would just essentially destroy the rocket (it will just get swallowed up/crushed because the rocks are constantly shifting).

You're describing problems that are easily solved as you develop a space infrastructure.

>brainlets have no clue what intrinsic value means
>same brainlets are all deluded shitcoins holders
color me surprised

in a few hundred years people will be able to make gold scientifically like how they can already make artificial rubies, diamonds and opal.

Bitcoin is backed by demand for its monetary properties and network.
And my bitcoin holdings are higher than your entire net worth you pathetic brainlet. Try testing someone else.

We haven't even started mining the moon yet let alone going all the way to the Asteroid belt (which is farther away than mars is) finding which asteroids have gold in them, creating vast amounts of mining equipment shipping them to that asteroid and then brining it back to earth in large quantities.
We're decades away from that.

In fact the people who most likely will be doing that are the martian colonists who will start to be territorial about the belt as they gradually gain independence from earth.

Kikes own it all
