I have $80,000 in savings, what should I do

Stocks?

I'm 18, full ride to college. I don't really have any expenses except the occasional eating out.

Put all of it in chainlink. You lucky jewish bastard

do the needful sir all in klero pls sir

Stocks? Wtf is wrong with you are you sick with the rona?

ETH < BTC < LINK.... don’t just put it all in one. And buy some XRP before the 12th for free spark token money and sell all of that too.

And I guess the only stock really worth a fuck is Tesla

Why all crypto?

Have you seen the state of the world lately? No one has money to buy shit and the fed just printed 20% of all USD in circulation this past year.

You’d be a complete moron to think inflatable fiat currency is a good investment especially now

That makes sense. So is BTC for example not affected by all the printed money?

Yes every cryptocurrency is effected by USD inflation, causing the price of everything to go up including shitcoins.

For example there will ever only be 21 million bitcoins to be minted roughly no matter what happens. Completely immune to inflation.

If I was handed $80,000 right now and didn’t want to get into mining equipment I would buy 1 Bitcoin, 32 ETH and stake it in an ETH 2.0 pool, and put the rest into LINK and XRP. Then sell all my XRP and SPARK after the 12th airdrop.

All in FUSE and BTC. Equal parts.

don't listen to this fucking crypto retards buy stocks

Don't think it means it's immune to inflation. I don't like how crypto fluctuates a lot. BTC has failed to break past 20k twice now.

I have one more question though, what's the point of diversifying in crypto? How does the price of a crypto rise or fall?

if you put all of that in crypto you're an idiot. people will call me a retarded faggot or some shit for saying that but it's true.

at least put some into stocks. if you're not focused on only making gains I'd also make sure you have an emergency fund. really depends on how much risk you want and what your plans for the future are.

let's say you put 10k aside for an emergency fund/fun money. with the 70k left that's a solid chunk of change. I'd put at least 50% of that in stocks if you're looking for safe and comfortable gains for the rest of your life. lots of people would be very jealous if they could put that type of money away. even if you put 75% into stocks you'd have plenty left to mess with crypto.

75% into stocks would be $52,500 which leaves you $17,500 for crypto. 60% into stocks would be $42,000 which $28,000 for crypto.

Many people think a crash is coming. Don't put it all in at once. Wait for the crash and then start investing or dollar cost average in

>what's the point of diversifying in crypto?
Gambling on moonshots basically.
>How does the price of a crypto rise or fall?
More people buy, price goes up. More people sell, price goes down. There are thousands of coins out there right now, most will fade into obscurity and disappear, be very careful. Even BTC and ETH have limited lifespans.
You should learn basic finances first (can be accomplished in a couple months), then begin learning about investing (takes years).
Might be better to stick your money in a CD for 6 months while you study up. Yes you'll miss out on gains but you stand to lose it all with a bad investment.

Check out Bogleheads, Mister Money Mustache and unironically Reddit finance boards if you need somewhere to start. Zig Forumsis for memes and gambling. Also read books, for the love of God, read some books.

I would suggest when you are ready to invest that you diversify, something like this:
65% stocks and index funds.
10% gold
10% cash
15% meme coins

Also consider buying a house depending on your market. Interest rates are insanely low, so just put the minimum down and contrary to conventional advice consider a 30 year loan.

Because they have different functions. Although BTC is a currency only, ETH has much more functionality. I could write paragraphs but I’d recommend researching any investment before buying. Don’t be like some of these retards here that buy shitcoins anons boast about and cry after losing 2k.

I’m not saying to completely avoid stocks it’s just the only thing worth a damn that I see blowing up in the future is Tesla.

He won’t even get 10k lmao

Go Long

Wait a couple years and buy 0.99 LINK.

Okay so what happens when the fed has to dump more money into the stock market next year as well? You failed to mention exactly what happened after the market crashed earlier this year

BTC and ETH aren’t going away. As long as miners find the payouts profitable then it’s going to be around forever. Crypto will overtake fiat when the dollar crashes screen cap this!

Dyor on coins and what they offer if you want to go that route.
Bitcoin/ether are the safest bet.

But If your interested in yolo big or breakdown poor. Grab some coins with projects you belive in behind them. Personally i belive in BAT since i love the project and it has shown to be profitable in the longrun.

If your interested in safe stocks put your money in etfs. My suggestion is (depending on where you are) is to put it in 50% US index funds/25%europe index funds/25% US bonds.
If you need a bit more info on that kind of lazy safe(but slow) investing look up "couh potato investing"

This. You're too young to get pajeeted.

the fact u have that much at a young age makes me think u had a good life so honestly i dont give a fuck what u do i hope u get smashd by a bus and raped by a nurse

All in GameStop

This is either the worst advice or the best advice, nowhere in between

Don't get into crypto

Personally I would spread it as 50% to some boomer ETF, 25% tech stocks or ARK ETF, 25% crypto spread between ETH and LINK.

Fk stocks. Put it all in crypto.

Put half of those on UBXT and stake them to get the free algo trading bot, us the other half on the bot to trade for you while you're in college eating out....simple

>BTC and ETH aren’t going away.
Already Bitcoin is failing to keep up with current trading volume, it's just a matter of time before it's obsolete. It's also extraordinarily wasteful.
ETH is being replaced by ETH 2.0 which is itself already outdated and has better competitors such as Cardano.
The blockchain as a whole is here to stay, BTC and ETH are not. I don't think the thing that will ultimately and quasi-permanently replace them exists yet though.

You don’t see gold and diamonds being used constantly every day to handle transactions do you? No you see something cheaper and more common like paper and tin coins and digital fiat.

I still think BTC and ETH will retain its value. Although it’s foolish to assume there will only every be 1 token that fulfills every purpose. Yes you’ll have tokens that are more abundant with much faster transaction times but value will stay with whatever it is we give value and Bitcoin remains king. It’s much harder to obtain like gold and diamonds whereas ADA is easy to obtain like paper cash.
