ask yourself user: why else would XRP in the top 3 coins? It doesn't have the legacy and name recognition of Bitcoin. It doesn't have the actual use cases and first mover advantage of ETH. It's not a massively memed community powered coin solving a real-world problem (oracle problem) like LINK.
Yet it has constantly been the 2nd or 3rd most valuable coin. And according to FUDers, it does NOTHING.
You could have said it's a pump and dump scheme in 2017. But XRP is still around, and it's still one of the most valuable coins. All the PnD 2017 coins have long faded into obscurity.

I really wish it wasn’t the standard. I too, hate the xerpees. Unfortunately there’s like 6 cryptocurrency bills effective in the next 3 weeks and they all benefit XRP, and the CEOs and chairmen of Ripple are very (publicly) excited about them and they talk about how XRP will be affected and it just seems it’s destined to succeed.
