I first bought around $0.80, was active in all the whalekiller threads and 2019 events. The problem is i've never stopped buying and this last half of a year has been miserable. Does anyone have any actual idea when things might turn around? Any breadcrumb about what's going to happen with oracle/staking etc?

Unironically . Let's be realistic and remind ourselves not to marry our investment. I hate to say it, but the constant hype around this project over the past 2 years has not been as secret as you might think, and many people have bought unrelentingly in anticipation of only the biggest of news. That's why Chainlink was the best performer of the past few years. Seriously, anyone who bought under a dollar has made a killing even if they sell now. But this has some serious correcting to do still.
We will be lucky if we don't break below 10, and will probably go back to 7 before any further rallying. As disastrous as that sounds, that is only a 61.8% retracement of the bull trend that started in March. Put things into a sober perspective: for such a furious, emotional upward movement as rise from $1.50 to $20, that .618 retracement would be a particularly forgiving correction. I'm still bullish long term but I'm mostly out until there's a clear bottom. Plus both the long term memelines on both the LINKUSD and LINKBTC charts have broken.
