Was a miner from 2017 spring to 2018 spring and I could have made a lot more by just throwing my money at alts.
I was mining several coins that were under the radar for normies for quite some time and brought in much more than mainstream mining calculators were showing.
Modified my mining rig to be fully water cooled (full DIY water cooling, hosing running from room to outside where the heat exchangers were placed), BIOS modifications and fucked around with Afterburner settings constantly to get the best MH/s to wattage ratio.
Was definitely one of the most interesting time of my life (have been always into technology and shit) but in the end hodling still comes out as a winner.
