AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHERE TF DO I START WTF DO I DO AHHHHH
I've been wanting to do this all my life yet I have no idea what to do. I'm 22, college drop out, and have 12k to my name. I'm ready to just go balls in on something but I'm stuck. Wtf do I do?
That covers your federal then depending on state and local poz you may have another hundred thousands pieces of paper to peruse over which I already know you won't because you're here asking us impotently. If you live in bumfuck Africa just do it man no red tape.
Charles Reyes
All of this shit seems so complicated. Maybe I’m just low IQ or something, but I’ve watched hundreds of videos, read a few books, and even had some classes but I still don’t know what the fuck I’m supposed to do.
Cooper Watson
You can pay people to hold your hand but that will cut into your principle. Just invest in some property and rent it out. You can revisit this dream when you're 30 and have like 100k.
Easton Green
Invest in property? I only have 12k
Noah Hill
What kind of business u want to start. I started a ''construction'' business installing kitchens. Just me and a 2 of my bros. Can clear several grand in 2 to 3 days
Christian Young
Some type of online business preferably because I don’t have any other skills like construction or whatever, but nothing is off the table for me. I just really want to start doing something but i don’t know what to do
Brandon Cooper
yea ur def dumb then
Camden Edwards
just start a dropshipping company spend some money on add campaigns and shill some chink shit. There's still tons of normies who fall for it. SHIT I hate to admit it even I fell for it recently when shopping for sunglasses. trying to get the order cancelled now. Fucking $32 dollars when they were $10 on aliexpress. Always reverse image search products.

Real talk: to start a business you need to be smarter than most people or profoundly lucky.
Theres no secret formula. Its just a matter of having a skillset of doing something good, the insight to identify a market, the wisdom to know how to improve on this, and then the further intelligence and knowledge to get it off the ground. Most of the time you need a lot of money too so unless youre already rich thats already a bottleneck for most people
the reality is you either have to get lucky. like starting some shitty dropshipping business that might make you 100k (before 100 chinese firms stamp you out out via competition). Or making it big with some really stupid niche really fast like a fidget spinner
TLDR you need luck, intelligence, charisma etc. its one of the hardest jobs to do right. if youre a serial business starter your iq is probably 140. Real life IQ not some stupid autism online one. 140 as in youre the smartest guy in the room,. the most charismatic guy in the room, the best negotiator, you see things people miss, you have insight in things people miss etc
Zachary Diaz
I might add, OP, I used to think like you. When I was 12. Not even trying to be insultive It just remembers me of when I was 12 and I bought a business book.
It was called "how to start a business". When I was 12 I had no money, skills, insight etc. I read the book cover to cover and I had all this jargon and words but I had nothing to do with it. It might as well have been a manual on how to imagine money out of the sky. Thats what it felt like. A manual to print money but no way to do it.
Its when I developed skills, insight and the like that all this business knowledge came to the front. In other wrods, I think you have no skills and thats why it seems so mystifying.
The process of making a business is typically
Find something youre annoyed with or interested in, realise theres a gap in the market or a consumer market for it, research, find a niche to operate in, develop a consumable product, all the trademarking stuff and marketing, cash in
Brayden James
So, finally, starting a business is basically the amalgamation of many high IQ traits. Creativity, abstract thinking, ability to make insight most cannot, very critical and able to predict future trends, extremely knowledable in many fields etc. entrepreneurship is probably as hard to get into as CEO's or maybe even harder if youre good at it. If youre poor you might as well forget ever doing anything great starting a business, unless youre a 1 in a million talent
Juan Sanchez
1 more note. sorry for mass spam. You can still start a medium sized business theres loads of stuff you can spring up doing. like a plumbing business or something. but to spot new insight and provide 'new' services or things that are innovating to earn huge stacks is very much a high IQ thing. and to get super rich in existing markets means youg otta find out how to do what everyone else is doing but way better.
I'd recommend trying to merge NEW developments with existing niches. Again, this will require a lot of brainstorming. like how cannew technology and software benefit current markets. could be anything, entertainment, DIY, such and such.
Brandon Reyes
By posting a bread. Congrats
James Green
or you can just buy an existing underperforming business(es) and build it up. that still requires capital, admin skills and work ethic.
i expect to make bare minimum 80k next year. more like 100k to 180k depending how things go.

Austin King
do it bro the world needs another self described businessman/entrepreneur with no clue, no funds and in the end a failed business but think in the short term you can tell everyone you own a business
Christopher James
The best entrepreneurs are never the smartest person in the room. The charisma part is true though. At least enough charisma to be a leader and respected.
Wyatt Morales
Being intelligent / autistic has little bearing in business the ones I’ve seen whove succeed are charismatic, determined and can be ruthless when it matters. Don’t fall for the Elon musk or gates meme they’re one in a billion in the tech game, the best product and service doesn’t mean shit the one that gets in the faces of the masses wins in small biz
Julian Jenkins
I'd say charismatic midwits who start businesses are very likely to wreck themselves if not closely monitored by a more rational smarter business partner. I see it happen a lot.
Austin Morales
Nigger Lol yeah I’ve fell for that shit too. The first watch I bought was one of those mvmt watches that were shilled on men’s lifestyle channels on YouTube. I bought it for like $150 to find out later that these fucks spent like $20 to make them in China. I have considered doing drop shipping and have consumed quite a bit of information about it, but I’ve never started anything. I appreciate the insight. I wouldn’t say I’m dumb but I’m not extremely smart either. I got into a semi prestigious school, Carleton College in Minnesota, and attended it for a few years before dropping out. It was gay, professors were gay, and I didn’t have the patience or interest in staying there. I think I’m capable of doing it but I just don’t know what the hell to do. I guess my main problem is piecing everything together on my own. I have no experience in business nor do I have any know how so it feels like I’m staring into an abyss. Any advice? You sound like my mom
Owen Gomez
Sorry for the mass spam but I reckon if you replace ruthless with having a antisocial personality disorder like psychopathy then youre right on the money
if youre the average joe but charismatic and driven you can absolutely do well in business purely by fucking over the competition. so you need no ethics what so ever.
Carson Martin
if your only goal is to make money the path will become clear. you can make money doing literally anything.
if your goal is to be a world changer, genius, philanthropist investor i have no advice to give.
Benjamin Taylor
midwits are always doomed, they can’t see the blind spots in themselves as they’re too confident, I’m average iq and have my own biz that nets 80k a year
Julian Cox
I think it's the other way around for small business. You need a better something to stand out when you are small. Either better product, service or pricing. Until you have a solid customer base, market share and brand recognition you can't just cheap out.
Gavin Howard
My brother and I run a drone services business together and we are both pretty autistic but our work speaks for itself. Some industries all that matters is your product like art, or food. Getting to the masses is very important too
Luke Fisher
Yeah all i want to do is make money, I just have no clue what to do
Dominic Diaz
depends on the business I have a small gym, they’re all the same

thing is, (not trying to insult you) - you need to develop skills and importantly as well build the mental fortitude, patience, to go through with making a business
if you dropped out of college, and all you've done (maybe youve done other stuff too) is watch lots of youtube vids (which a lot are trying to shill you their book/product, if you read between the lines) - really think hard and fast about 'starting a business', because you might get into a lot more debt than profit.
i would recommend finding something you're INTERESTED in - because this interest will be what propels you to put in all that extra unnoticed work to get your business to succeed. (ie. no use running a hamburger stand when you're a vegan - you'll not spend the effort you need to make it successful cos you're hating it 95% of the day)
there's so much more to running a business- you're an inventory manager, accountant, hiring manager, negotiator, sales investigator, etc. I would say if theres an area youre interested in - find a job/work in that area, to learn how it actually functions. Even something like a busboy, bartender (if you're thinking food service), property assistant (if youre thinking real estate), delivery driver (delivery/transport) will provide valuable insight into something
if making money was this easy, everyone would be rich as fuark but alas its a lot of unnoticed sweat and tears. everyone wants to save the world - no one wants to change the toilet paper.
Tyler Thompson
What if I told you. I have a genie that cangrant all of your wishes.
I appreciate the insight. I’d say the only skill I really have is leadership and people skills. I’ve worked at a place where I’ve held various leadership positions, basically just managerial shit. I’m not interested in a lot of things but I do have a good work ethic. I just want to make money, be my own boss, and have something to do but can’t seem to figure out what that is and how I’m going to get there. If only
Aaron Butler
Good post For real though, every business is based on skills you can offer to others. Having interests is usually key to getting a start, and developing skills around said interests is the way that you’ll eventually identify a niche that you can thrive in
Carter Howard
There is a trick! I have a genie inside my body. In order to see him though you have to rub the tip of my dick until my lucky cream comes out of it.
Christopher Edwards
I love when this board actually comes out with well reasoned, sensible advice. Thank you user
