Okay smooth brain. America is based on trickle down economics.
please tell that to all the fucking garbage trying to cross the borders to get in
As if that shit even works, kek. wtfhappenedin1971.com
i dont have to tell them them user i think they already know by now.
Truth
Rich people invest their money to get more money, their investment creates jobs.
Lower taxes means that they can invest more which means they will create more jobs therefore “transfering” their wealth downstream
Simple explanation but I think you get it
this is a lie, i live here because my parents were born rich and so now my parents are rich so i was born rich. I do nothing all day and eat the greasiest food from my local subrural McDonalds every evening. i live the best life ever. so fuck you fuck niggers fuck jannies fuck kikes and fuck jews for trying to take my generational white-aryan money.
correction: theres no point in living here if you are middle class. being rich here is awesome and being poor here is awesome. the poor people here live like kings compared to other countries.
What about our fat, feminist women? Surely you guys want those.
ive been waiting for "trickle down economics" for my whole life lol
it's literally the easiest country to get rich in
You are worse than a NEET
Fucking this
Poor people get everything for free
Housing
Food
Transportation
Rich people get everything by being rich
It’s the middle class that gets royally fucked over simply because you made good decisions in life and wasn’t a loser
Strongly disagree. In one generation, my family went from living in poverty in a steel-mill town to upper-middle class life with relative luxury, through nothing other than a liberal arts degree, a boring desk job, and middle management. America has opportunities for lifting yourself up that no other country on Earth has. That's not to say that there aren't issues with wealth inequality, but saying "there's no point living here if you're not rich" is completely blind to the realities of wealth and opportunity in the rest of the world.
This country might very well go full Khmer Rouge within the next year, and I don't have the money to escape it.
I came here to post something about the middle class, specifically skilled labor, only being useful to propel you into the upper percentiles. That's where all the goodness is. Our tax/benefits structure is so broken that the middle class sits in this weird no man's land that all the policies meant to transfer wealth from the 1% apply to them as well while little of the benefits working poor and poor in general get do not.
>America has opportunities for lifting yourself up that no other country on Earth has
This is wrong and these opportunities exist in any developed nation (Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc), but ya, for the other 90% of the world you're right
People who fail in the United States amaze me. I make $78k a year in a rural area, which when adjusted for purchasing power is like $110k a year in Miami or someplace. I'll be making $87k next year. I graduated in May. People don't know how good they've got it here, even if it is under assault and not as good as it used to be. As an engineer I'd have maybe £20k take home salary if I worked in the UK lmfao
>my family now makes more money to give to the rich people
there is no point living anywhere if you're not rich
>People who fail in the United States amaze me. I make $78k a year
Great anecdotal evidence, dumbass.
It's more like trickle down communism since 1971
Shhh OP you’re going to anger the peasants
Fun fact: they used to call this “horse and sparrow” economics in the 1890s. The idea was that if you give enough oats to the horse, then some will get through to the sparrow :)
1980 wants their meme back
Quoted the wrong person :(
Nah just saying people like you amaze me. You have every right to bitch and whine if you want, but don't kid yourself into thinking that it isn't possible to be successful.
That's the problem
The US is full of opportunity, but everyone is constantly overthinking it instead of just rolling up their sleeves and starting to work.
Anyone could start a business. The entire US economy is structured to be able to give people a start. Unless you’ve behaved like a wild nigger with your credit, you can easily get an FHA loan to start investing in real estate.
You could also borrow money for a truck to start doing simple construction labor or handyman work.
Everyone always looks at the macro instead of jumping in to get while the getting is good. I borrowed 35k to get a truck and trailer when I started my concrete business.
I went to the offices of several property managers and asked them to call me if they needed any concrete work. People like seeing someone who is starting out and you’ll be surprised how much they want to help you.
I did 150k of work that first year and I had 60k cash free and clear after a year and a half. It’s very doable if you aren’t afraid to work hard.
That’s what trickle down really means. Waiting for gibs is pathetic
>itt people think wealth and abundance coke from government and other people
Nice anecdote. The data says otherwise:
>we just need to cut Bezos’ taxes one more time then the economy will be great!
Yes.
