2021 - Year of Cardano

Cardano spent years building infrastructure correctly the first time

>90+ academic papers with hundreds of citations
>Ouroboros Hydra layer2 - scales smart contracts and transactions
>Hydra scales to 1million TPS
>Cardano already has 1400+ stake pools
>native asset standard - tokens are cheaper and simpler to work with
>network fees can be paid in the token being transferred
>E-UTXO allows for safer/easier network sharding
>decentralized governance
>decentralized treasury
>Marlowe domain specific language for easily building secure financial contracts
>IELE virtual machine - allows developers to create Cardano dapps in any popular language
>hardfork combinator - safe/smooth upgrade forks (no accidental chain splits)

imagine two body builders, training to arm wrestle

2015
>Vitalik just starts lifting,
>no understanding of muscle groups, proper form or diet
>Charles studies deeply
>how to lift, what to eat, etc

2020
>Vitalik has *some* muscle mass
>but frequently tears muscles, most of his body is underdeveloped
>Charles is rapidly catching up
>optimal workout routine and pristine diet

Onwards
>arm wrestle commences
>chad Charles breaks virgin Vitalik's arm into 64 shards

you're not sleeping on Cardano/ADA, are you?

Incredibly based

Nobody gives a fuck
ADA is a Ghostchain with Superior Tech to Ethereum
But as we knowy nobody ever cared about great Tech and only about the first mover Advantage

>Ouroboros proof of stake - formally verified and provably secure
>inspired much of Polkadot's BABE consensus mechanism

>frictionless/user-friendly staking - no slashing lockup or minimum stake

>Plutus - functional programming language (similar to Haskell / written by some of it's creators)
>Cardano team has deep understanding of Ethereum infrastructure, from their work on ETH/ETC node clients (ex: Mantis)

>governance-as-a-service for projects inside/outside Cardano

>digital identity/credential standard (Atala PRISM)
>product authentication standard (Atala SCAN)
>supply chain provenance standard (Atala TRACE)
>meta-data standard

>consistently transparent with their technology and product updates
>one of the largest communities in crypto

>formal commercial adoption strategies
>focus on developing nations - fastest growing economies, youngest demographics and the strongest need for crypto
>MoUs with governments of Ethiopia, Mongolia and Georgia

>collaborated with New Balance to provide authentication
>working closely with SingularityNet / Ben Goertzel (the genius behind 'Sophia the Robot')
>most crypto influencers speak positively of Cardano

you have fine taste user

>Superior Tech to Ethereum
you're goddamn right

>nobody ever cared about great Tech and only about the first mover Advantage
dozens of examples prove the opposite
global financial infrastructure needs to be watertight and built with rigor
whereas Ethereum is fragile and poorly conceived

Well if you know you know

Overpriced useless ETH killer 5983983 ? Haha. YIKES.

Wait for Glitch.

It's absolutely fucking true though.

ADA is a great technology -- but it has to be Apple overtaking Windows to fucking make it. Do I think the madman can do it? Yeah, but also I'm not betting the farm on it.

Algorand is the better tech fag

How many eth killers have been made by a co-founder of Eth?

All hail our billion dollar Burger King. If Eth makes it, Cardano won't. Will Eth make it? I don't fucking know.

Arguably. I don't really think so -- also Algorand has horrible tokenomics made to endlessly dump on investors and should never be invested in by anyone vs. Bitcoin.

ADA dumped hard after the ICO but it goes up vs. Bitcoin since march and Algorand doesn't do shit vs. Bitcoin.

Feels pretty good that others are talking about ADA now. Accumulation phase must be over?

ETH is being used by millions. Literally millions are making and losing money on DeFi alone. ADA TEZOs and shit like that is useless. Staking for the sake of staking is pointless. ETH Killers just cant get solid devs no matter how much they pay them, because even a half decent dev on solidty can clone something add some flare or 1 or two ideas and make millions. You've got kids on discord answering questions for SUSHI. Thats how far ahead ETH is. ADA lol getting things perfect is for retards. Real people get to action and solve problems along the way.

>Overpriced useless ETH killer 5983983
nah

other ETH killers are only better in one or two ways
>Ethereum, but faster/cheaper (NEO, EOS, Tron)
>Ethereum + governance (Tezos)
>Ethereum + more programming languages (Elrond)

Cardano improves on Ethereum in every measurable way
see
nothing else comes close

>but it has to be Apple overtaking Windows to fucking make it
it literally is, but better

there are compelling reasons to use different OS's
Windows/Android/Linux
>less locked down
>generally cheaper
>highly customizable

Mac/iOS
>better UX/support
>highly optimized
>branding

Cardano is all of these combined
there are no compelling reasons to use Ethereum long term
>questionable security
>unoptimized/expensive
>poor user/developer experience
>WASM all-but cancelled for Ethereum
>no governance process
Ethereum absorbed all of the mistakes of being the first smart contract platform

Most projects on Ethereum have expressed interest in expanding to other platforms

>ETH is being used by millions. Literally millions are making and losing money on DeFi alone.
Ethereum is only being used by power-user investors
Few everyday people are buying ETH to pay for $30 gas fees
and the ones that are likely resent how bad the experience is...

Cardano allows for fees to be paid in the token being sent,
so users sending DAI will also pay the fee in DAI,
and pay much lower fees, since Cardano's asset standard is highly efficient

I think this bounces back down to 0.13 or perhaps even lower for a while. I'll be accumulating more then.

I've got about 1100 ADA staked on cex.io, what can I realistically expect in 2021? Is that enough or should I get more?

You know eth is the clear winner when you have salty Charliefags seething on biz about eth1 gas fees. You’d think if this was really a huge issue, everybody would be jumping ship. But that’s not the case. Everybody is jumping on board to pay the gas fees because they know eth has won already.

Realistically? It to stay stable or have a moderate tick up. It is growing in popularity. Unrealistically? crash and burn or moon.

ETH is probably gonna lose once bridges are built lol. People are hopping into defi I bet you most of them dont care if it's an ERC20 or whatever the fuck they can buy that looks like fiat.

What exchange is best to buy cardano? I live in the US

and yet no one cares

>if this was really a huge issue, everybody would be jumping ship.
>Everybody is jumping on board to pay the gas fees because they know eth has won already.
retard didn't even read what I said

Ethereum only has usage for these two reasons:
>A) huge profit to be made speculating on shitcoins/yield farming
>B) Cardano contracts won't launch till early 2021

of course speculators and whales don't mind the fees
everyday users WON'T be willing to pay $30 for everyday usage

>ETH is probably gonna lose once bridges are built lol
this ^
Ethereum's only hope is locking people into their shitty, unoptimized ecosystem

Most likely Kraken or Binance

DCA is your best bet user,
I've been buying from 8c, down to 2c, up to 15c
ADA could hit $20 long term

>network fees can be paid in the token being transferred

ADA not needed
Blockstream compromised ADA its over

>COINBASE, I AM THE ETH KILLER.
Hoskinson 2 days ago.

ADA fags are a special kinda dumb.

>ADA not needed
value of ADA comes from total fee revenue, regardless of currency
>I just want to pay my bills why do I have to have ETH
forcing people to pay fees in X just makes the experience worse,
reducing usage and platform revenue overall

Cardano governance decides what tokens can be used to pay fees in,
so only the most desirable and liquid assets will qualify
>stablecoins
>BTC
>gold
>etc

Cardano > everything else on that list
IYKYK

I sold all my ETH after seeing this tweet. Should I just buy ADA now? I can't believe this globalist vitalik is winning right now. Ugh!

>what can I realistically expect in 2021
if the bull trend continues, ADA should hit at least $1-3

>is that enough or should I get more?
depends on what you can afford
50k is a great stack

I'm still accumulating
$100 ADA by 2030

>Should I just buy ADA now?
definitely read up on what they've accomplished, and what they have in store
but averaging in now is probably a good move

i know i hate eth but its gonna be so hard to take it over bro... what do you think?? truly?
