Razor has Partnered with Sentinel Network to provide Secure Cryptocurrency Price Feed to Sentinel dVPN Users
Sentinel is a network layer built on top of Cosmos/Tendermint, whose framework is being used for the development of robust and transparent dVPN networks.
The dVPN apps built on Sentinel provide users with the ability to make payments with different cryptocurrencies that are supported by the Cosmos Interoperability protocol.
The Sentinel flagship dVPN and other dVPN apps built on Sentinel will use Razor's decentralized Oracle network to obtain secure cryptocurrency price feeds.
This will ensure that Sentinel dVPN users are provided with the correct estimate of how much their bandwidth usage will cost in cryptocurrency terms.
The SENT Wireguard Tendermint based Node docker has been open-sourced on Github and instructions to host the node will be released and added to docs.sentinel.co
This node also features a HNS DNS resolver which allows for users to tunnel into the Handshake network through Sentinel dVPN services.
The Handshake Network HNS enables users to access a decentralized DNS protocol which acts as a replacement to centralized and permissioned DNS protocols (e.g #ICANN). HNS is a gateway to the decentralized web and Sentinel aims to offer its users secure access to the HNS network.
Work will begin on a Wireguard based relay network from Q1 of 2021.
With the launch of Wireguard based nodes, Sentinel will be able to investigate the potential of establishing a cross-network relay system to decrease the risk of attack. This cross-network relay structure would decrease the probability of a MITM relay node attack.
