Not much to say, we can all YOLO and loose money. It is mathematically proven that with high number of occurrences we get closer to the mean average of our returns. Not more than 1-2% max loss per trade.

Got fucked on Citigroup options again. I buy calls I get fucked. I buy puts I get fucked. I give up. The stock is foolish.

currently high IV and IVR with
BB
UNG
PDD

Fact. Selling premium is dope but not when a stock has been upgraded and it's prospects are this good. Just guy the calls

seekingalpha.com/article/4394688-vale-and-tesla-nickel-picture

Ok do I use Schwab, mostly their mobile app.

You fuckers shilled me into buying CLF along calls that expire on 1/8/21 with a $13 strike price.
So WTF do I do with these things? Just sit there and look at them until 1/8/21? If so then what? Looking at them on the app all I can do is sell them now, as in Sell to Close?

Fuck I shouldn’t have bought these I got no idea WTF. I know what a call is but that is it.

>Options profit calculator
Do you have one for commodities futures?

To sell them yes, "sell to close" and use a limit price of whatever you want, but it'll sell at bid price if you use market rate.

so how exactly does robinhood get away with not requiring 25k balance to trade options? i remember applying for options trading with vanguard a couple years ago, kept getting denied even though i had like ~30k deposited

Yeah you just hold and hope you at least break even on strike price + premium you paid. Otherwise, sell it again if its worth more now to run off with a small profit.

stop buying premium start selling it
this is the main thread, you fuckers need to keep it alive
unfortunately not, but tastyworks has a solid one
robinhood is ok if you want to buy the underlying, otherwise for options its a no go

>so how exactly does robinhood get away
SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAM DETECTED

I have decided i will start selling weeklies here and there as well, for a gamma exposure , but only on SPY , never the actual underlying

Just sell at market bro. At least you have money for mcd and Doritos.

>this is the main thread, you fuckers need to keep it alive
you know what I meant, kek
owell, can't catch everything
>but only on SPY
some day I'd like to have 100 shares of SPY and to just sell calls on it every 2 days

What do you guys think

U $125 / $130 Calls $3.10 breakeven

1/1/2021 expiry, oops

yeah i see your point, but eventually you will be assigned and fucked over

What about degiro?

aight what stock does everyone sell options on?

cheapest euro broker, but you cant trade options there, i would not recommend as their platform also is very user unfriendly

high liquidity ONLY, SPY, APPL, TSLA (not recommended, that beast is wild) and a few more

wasn't there some formula you posted before for selling calls that will usually never get assigned, something like delta 0.20 or below
hopefully by the time it does actually have that one random pump where it gets assigned I've already made enough money on selling calls up to that point + the change in the underlying up until then that it doesn't hurt so much and I can just wait for a dip to buy back in

yes fren,
you sell 16-20 deltas, 45 DTE, and you manage them at 21 days , whether naked or covered

hmm. I'd only be able to sell on apple.

why only apple?

because I cant afford anything else lol
any other cheaper stocks to sell on?

CLSK is a hidden gem for covered calls. Check out the premium. It is going to run this year so I think the best play would be to sell calls with relatively low dte with a close strike and just roll every time. Either way check it out anons.

BAC
WFC
BX
TQQQ (9dte)
ARKK

SPY is cheap man what are you talking about? and significantly less volatile , its a hedge vehicle

are you talking about naked calls?
im thinking covered calls here.
I only have about 15k to play with
