one of the problems with the GME thesis that's going to be very difficult to deal with is the fact that most "gaming" growth in the last 5 years hasn't actually been gaming at all, it's been candy crush phone apps.
I believe Cohen mentioned targeting the mobil gaming market in a lot of his correspondence / filings this year.

You can't pivot to mobile. You can pivot to PC gaming and e-commerce and funko pops and arcade machines and any number of other high margin, high touch experiences that delight customers. The reason revenue sharing makes sense for the big console makers is that it expands the total addressable market. Sure, you can buy a PS5 online, but Tyrone can't spend his drug cash online. Tyrone wants to pay cash. Without Gamestop, Sony loses Tyrone as a customer, and he either steals a PS5 or buys one on Ebay. This lowers the customer acquisition cost for Sony, which is awesome for them. Gamestop is also very good at selling bundles, which are higher margin for everyone involved.
How does that translate to phone apps, other than selling App Store gift cards or whatever?
