The problem is no one knows the dangers of the vaccine, if there are any. People are getting bells palsy, or even dying, and they're just be discounted as outliers, or "inconclusive". The fact that people in the know are "waiting" to get their vaccine speaks volumes. Senior politicians should literally be the first to receive it, right up there with carehomes, just because of how much travel and personal contact their jobs require

ya all those things you said are factual. Due process hasn't been conducted here, and that's incredibly worrisome for a mass-vaccination program. Im also a leaf, so its good to know there's more people here with the same concerns.
Another one you could add, even though its technically not our country, is that the head of the FDA was literally threatened with dismissal if he didn't instantly approve the vaccine.

I just did. It bothers me a lot, because I'm not even an "anti-vaxxer" and have got vaccines before. I do trust them generally, and I do believe in science/medical research, but I also believe extremely heavily in peer reviews, due process and proper testing. None of these things happened with this vaccine. The fact that they took the steps to secure complete immunity from all potential liability is disgusting and speaks volumes. The fact it was granted is even worse. The amount of "miracle cures" that end up the focus of massive huge class action lawsuits afterwards is staggering, its not like we even have to look that far back in history to see examples of the damage that rushing out medicine can do.
I was never anti-vaccine before, but this Covid-19 hysteria has really made me question the medical establishment.

Freedom of information requests for who has received government funding are being denied (that we have a constitutional right to), people aren't receiving necessary time-sensitive medical treatment because they need to wait for bullshit covid-19 test results, you can buy Christmas cards but not birthday cards for some reason. I know I was kind of all over the place there with my complaints, but its all just getting more and more ridiculous by the day.
I have seen some politicians and some journalists raising these questions though, so there is hope, but I fear the noise from everything else is drowning out all sensibility and critical thinking.

Thats hard to say, because we've also seen an increase in autism diagnosis, which I know sounds like a contradiction, but really isn't. Back even 30 years ago, people just thought "autism = rainman" and that was it, now we have a whole spectrum skewing results. You can't really look back too far on historical data because of this.
