The controlling nodes of XRP will vote on wallet minimums. If these nodes are trying to gatekeep people, which they may, the minimiums may rise and lock people out of XRP for good.
With that in mind, whatever wallet you need, the sooner you get it the better. This is not meant for consumer use.
