The PRC is waging information warfare against the GOP and USA in support of DNC given that none of their candidates proved popular. All of this is an effort to restore the treason that was happening at the behest of China under the Obama-Biden administration.
Europeans depend heavily on Russian oil / gas. They do not like Russia having a lot of leverage over them in this way. Poland / Ukraine are the eastern border of Europe as far as Western Europeans are concerned, so they want NATO running a defensive corridor there.
The Middle East primarily sells oil / gas to China. They do not have pipeline access to Europe, and the United States blocks pipeline access to China via Afghanistan (which we occupy, for this exact reason).
In the middle of the Obama regime, they toppled Egypt / Libya, specifically by supporting rebels in eastern Libya. You probably don't know this, but eastern Libya is the highest per capita recruiting grounds for al-Qaeda anywhere in the world. They are the ones who were largely responsible for building IEDs that killed most of our troops in Iraq. Lots and lots of American blood on their hands. These are the people Obama supported against Gaddafi however.
Why? Libyan weapons stockpiles were shipped to Syria. The plan was to overthrow Syria and then Turkey. The intention here was to open a pipeline path from Saudi Arabia to Europe. The easiest way to do this is Jordan / western Iraq > Syria > Turkey > Europe
The fallout of such a pipeline opening up goes like this: Saudi energy becomes cheaper than Russian (easier to extract than Russian, but comparable delivery prices once a pipeline is available from Saudi Arabia to Europe). Europe switches to ME energy. Russia then has to switch to selling to China. Afghanistan is no longer valuable real estate in controlling Chinese energy sovereignty. The West has no controllable territory between Russia and China to cut supplies > China obtains effective energy independence, superpower status

Why hasn't Russia provided china sufficient guarantees to supply them with oil right now? It could only benefit from a strong china - first because it will take some NATO pressure off itself, second because strong china can go and finally do these railways mainland eurasia needs to be able to trade. Third because if china successfully challenges america in the seas, Russia can be in much stronger position when negotiating access to warm water seas from american allies that have no military but know big brother will back them up.

Russia does not want to be flanked on both sides by superpowers. Europeans can afford to pay more for Russia, so selling to China instead of Europe hurts their bottom line. There are competing interests in the Russian mindset however. While they view China as a battering ram to be used against the USA, they also have deep historical and mental scars of Mongolian domination and do not want China to somehow win against the USA but rather maintain a balance of power in which Russia is the kingmaker.

The west has been tightening the noose decade after decade however, excluding Russia from global trade by any means at their disposal. Not trying to outright topple it, but to keep it starved, poor and ready to boil.
Would it not be in the interest of Russia if another superpower appeared to challenge america directly? On paper it looks bad for it, true, but in practice Russia is secure against land invasion by virtue of being Russia and a major nuclear power on top of it. Chinese claim to global dominance would have to be either through trade (where Russia would benefit immensely), science (lol) or naval power (where Russia would again benefit immensely). Land conquest is not on the cards.

To clarify, I agree with you that Russia doesn't want China to win and become the hegemon - but it could only act as a kingmaker if china somehow challenges the US. And china seems unable to do it for the foreseeable feature while the noose around Russia tightens.

In reality the USA has kept Russia alive for the last century while it suffered from lack of talent owing to the communist revolution. The west has been transferring industry, capital, food and technology to Russia in massive quantities basically since WW1. Most of their problems that are blamed on the west are in fact just what happens to you when you let communists take over and kill all your good people.
That being said, in theory Russia could indeed benefit from a rising China if it is able to "ride the tiger" and keep a balance of power between them which Russia is somehow able to tip one way or the other, therefore making itself the kingmaker of sorts. Strategic thinking in Russia has been highly invested in the Islamic world for many many decades now, as they feel that a push south to the gulf states by their sphere of influence sets them up as the controlling interest of an African-European-Eurasian trading sphere with the Anglo periphery relegated to lower status.

I am by no means a russaboo, but cmon, USA has only kept Russia alive to the extent that it lacked the will and competence to end it before the threat of MAD become a thing - and since then has been trying to gently (to the extent americans understand this word at all) nudge it into collapse where it can be safely disarmed. The human capital of Russia (lost due to the communist shitfest) mostly fled into the US itself and Israel, from where it has indeed participated in keeping Russia afloat, partially with cultural sabotage and partially by doing business, but not in any way under the orders or even the approval of the military industrial complex or the so called deep state.
Russia's interactions with the Islamic world have even more disastrous than the US ones and only the recent blunders of america have allowed Russia to reclaim some ground in the middle east - however, in this it risks more than it stands to gain, unless the US is otherwise occupied (again, china).
Would you recommend some sources for me to follow? My position sounds a bit hollow and outdated to me when I state it plainly.
