4, and obviously I have, who hasn't?

i speak 3 languages.

I speak some French and some German. I can read German and gather like 75% of what it’s talking about

I speak the only one that matters
My kids will need Spanish though

3, but can't learn proper german for the life of me

I can speak Spanish and Thai but will never learn more. I feel the English language is the best, most efficient way to convey complex technological concepts. It why English has the most words of any language. Linguistic, Anglo Saxon precision.

what are they?
and other than being able to please my Italian grandmother who has spent the past 60 years actively trying not to assimilate, I have never been in a situation where I was handicapped by not knowing anything other than English.
english, portuguese and what?

How hard was Chinese to learn?

Finnish, English, German, and Swedish.

>English
>French
>Mandarin
>Russian

Pretty difficult. The characters and grammar aren't that bad, but the tones make it really hard to speak properly.

i can read italian pretty well (albeit very slowly) and can even make out paragraphs of spanish sometimes.
But I only understand between 10% - 75% of Italian depending on how the person is saying and how quickly.
As for Spanish, I have no skill beyond reading at a toddler's level.

I should be able to speak 3 languages as learned Irish and French in school but I can only really speak English. I've forgotten everything I learned in Irish and French class.

4. Polish, English, French and German. Also a bit of Italian and little bit of Russian - but not conversational really in Russian.
Would I be better off with another? I don't know. You dont really think about it desu. Its just something you have - like knowing how to make a cake or something.

>My kids will need Spanish though
why you say that? just bc you're assuming Spanish is gonna become hyper prevalent across the US, or bc of where you live, or what

Three, was learning russian but I am too lazy, I speak english, spanish and italian.

croatian, serbian, serbo-croatian, bosnian, montenegrian, english

I met a grill who spoke Welsh Gaelic. I tried to learn some but it was insane gibberish.

I speak Portuguese, Japanese and english.

4.5
Being able to go somewhere else in the world and be able to communicate with the locals is pretty neat.
Learning new languages is a bitch though.
Unless you have god-tier self discipline or you have an opportunity to reside in a country that speaks the desired language.

Learning other languages is for gay retards

2. American and Japanese.
I'm not even a weeb I just liked the way it sounded.

Tokyo is a pretty cool city though.

English, French, German, Italian.

Yeah I wanna learn Spanish, Russian and Arabic.

1. no.

Huehuehuehue

i know these languages
1 hungarian - best language on the planet
2 english - possibly the worst widely spoken language ever to exist
3 german - learning was mandatory in secondary grammar school
4 latin - learning is mandatory in university
5 russian - this is a strange one, i can't say im a huge fan but cyrillic is cool

should i try my hand, or rather, tongue, at spanish? i stopped french after 2-ish months because it was simply horrible

Chinese and English.

There is no Welsh Gaelic. The Welsh language is very different to Gaelic. There's Scottish Gaelic and Isle of Mann Gaelic as well as Irish Gaelic and Welsh isn't connected to those languages.

just like that LOL

I know 4 but I suck at all of them

1 language - 0.5 polish and 0.5 english

Sorry bro, I'm a burger retard. If they found out I'm trying to learn other languages they'd publicly club me to death at the local walmart.

If I add all the words from other languages I know, probably .89 total.

more than 2
less than 5

>2. American and Japanese.
>I'm not even a weeb I just liked the way it sounded.
Nice bait.

English, Czech (in that order) and I've been learning Russian on Duolingo.
