Yes but I only own a lute. It's not very metal. My tip is to use lots of electric guitar tracks to amp up the mood together with righteous vocals. But I am perhaps leaning more into power metal when it comes to that whole genre, so maybe my tip is horrible for heavy stuff.

In games: They butchered the instrument part of mordhau, might as well not have it in really because of how tame it is, needing to download a addon to be able to play like that vid, compared to for example the Mount and blade games where you can choose specific songs from a list and then you'll play that song on ur instrument. Or like ff14 or other games with instruments where you have a wide selection of octaves so you can actually learn to play the instrument on your pad or keyboard.
