I went to the doctor's 2 days ago with a stiff neck and shoulder. The nurse there took a blood sample, screened me for covid 19 and sent me home. She said the doctor would call me same day to prescribe some medication. No call back so I ring the surgery. Nurse says doctors not available go to A and E at the hospital. I go to A and E get interviewed by one doctor then go to another doctor for check up who also takes blood. Doctor referers me to another doctor for x-ray and another registrar takes more blood. After x-ray they then they decide to take blood again and give me an ECG. Finally the registrar decides I need a canular in my hand for easy access. After waiting 5 hours for test results and x-ray results I've now been at the hospital for 8 hours. Registrar and nurse sit me down and tell me they need to put me in a drip for 24 hours because my liver is at risk!!! Wtf!!! I came in with a stiff neck! He says, ring your wife and tell her so I ring the wife. The wife goes mental and tells me to come straight home, they are going to kill me if I stay there. Registrar goes all doctorish with medical jargon and says that if I leave they can't force me to stay bit I'm putting my life at risk!!! Wtf!!! I swear to god all this happened over these two days. After signing release form I asked what about my stiff neck? Answer was take some pain killers you'll be fine. I don't fucking believe the shit that is going down now I've experienced it first hand. The hospital was fucking emepty, nobody was wearing PPE and everyone was hanging around with nothing to do. This was Lewisham hospital in South London. What's fucking joke. Fucking scary shit my friends.
Scary hospital shit going down
Government-funded and immigrant-staffed healthcare is not competent? That is not what they taught me in Holocaust class.
So was they trying to kill you so they could claim you as another Covid death?
scary shit is going down in bongland. pic related is a 10/10 in bongland
They took your bloods, yes?
They can see what's happening with your liver through your blood, fren. Your neck was fine but they found out that your liver is fucked.
Also the NHS has crazy waiting times anyway.
kek
Are you white?
sounds like a larp 2bh
they look like drag queens? they're not?
>socialized medicine
Yes.
I swear to god. It's all true. Fucking scary shit. I've still got a stiffneck. Wtf!!!
Why are you not explaining what your diagnosis was? The actual name of it? Anyway stiffneck can be meningitis
Probably real knowing the UK.
I had a Paki doctor in the US once who told me I would be on this crazy headache medicine the rest of my life that causes psychosis and shit, I just stopped going and taking the medicine and I'm fine
Just in case you have liver damage, stop drinking though
They take blood tests for one thing, find something else and then don't tell you about it until they've done like five other tests to confirm. Such is the NHS. Don't worry, lad. If they don't ring you back it means you aren't dying.
No it was a stiff muscle as I slept badly. That's all. They wanted to put me in a drip for 24 hours!!!
Ya so many people are on so many meds at once. They take meds to counteract the bad affects of the other meds. Thats the pharma racket killing people
I don't drink much.
Fucking craziest shit I've ever seen. 5 sets of blood tests. My arms are shredded. One " health care assistant" hands were shaking like and alchi who needed a drink or she was comes up to her eyeballs. She couldn't hit a cows arse with a cattle prod let alone a vein. Fuck me. I had to calm her down.
Do doctors get a bonus for a patient dying, or going on drip, or getting corona or going into a coma or anything?
Because of something they found in your blood, they wouldn't do it for no reason.
They can find out alot of shit through your blood.
Probably. I would of ended up another Corona statistic. I swear to god they were trying to kill me I swear it.
Blood tests differ.
They need multiple samples to check for X Y and Z
how much was your bill? that would be about $8,000 in america plus tip.
Kek. A proud, brave nurse afraid to touch a patient because she thinks he had corona, probably. Hopefully they're just being overly cautious. They're likely bored because no one is coming in, so they all wanted a prod.
I went in there with a stiff neck and shoulder! 5 blood tests x-ray and ECG I've still got a fucking stiff neck and diagnosis. Fuck me!!!!
Just avoid doctors and hospitals as much as possible. That should be the default going forward for as many as possible. A stiff shoulder and neck will resolve on its own. Am honestly surprised you went to see a doctor about a stiff neck. This happens to all of us on occasion upon awakening. It's a normal human condition. Ditto stiff shoulders. It's part of being human. Avoid doctors, avoid hospitals like the plague.
Nothing. No cost. Just the waiting all day. Terrible. The hospital was empty. Didn't cost me a penny. Still I think the bastards tried to kill me.
I will now I swear. Never again. I fucking hate hospitals too. I never get I'll. Even when I broke my fingers I set them myself with gaffa tape and lollipop sticks. But my me k and shoulder were scary. It's my neck at the end of the day.
wife is a carehome manager
She's poz for kung flu
We both had a cold back in February
fatigue/ headache/lethargic as fuck
I pulled my back gurning on steel sheets at work about the same time

Today is day 15 of isolation after she had a fever at work & was sent home
>It's just a flu bro
But with extra linger on the symptoms I reckon
Well, you went into A&E. They do all kinds of shit. If they find something, they will send you to another test.
If you go in with a limp dick, and they find that your ribs are broken, they will send you to an x-ray and so on.
get out of lewisham m8
at least regroup in croydon, still plenty of good lads here
all medical care is free at the point of use on the NHS. you might not get what you want, you might not get what you need, but you'll have to queue for it either way. no going bankrupt from medical bills but don't expect heroic efforts unless its in an acute trauma setting.
Fuck. They were creepy as fuck. There was a guy with a boil on his arse and another guy with a headache. That's all. All the staff were sitting down, the cleaners were sitting down, the assistants were all sitting down in the waiting areas. It was fucking weird.
