We ought to be building a modern version of adobe houses in the southwest. Like two foot thick concrete walls, put your lawn on your roof, all of that shit. There's no reason we should rely on air conditioning to not cook ourselves in our homes.

This picture is Vegas and it was taken years ago. Rhodes ranch completely filled the area where the camera isn’t looking. Also, this neighborhood is right next to a high relief area making it a “corner” of the city. If you were to google the location in Las Vegas by Ft. Apache rd and Huntingon cove Avenue for proof. Also, Vegas grows fast as fuck
