What is a foundation myth?

It fulfills three functions.
1) It explains the origin and structure of the world (and society).
2) It defines ultimate good and evil (and from those definitions are derived the values that are used to justify the holding of power).
3) It determines what is held sacred in that society.
For modern Westerners the story of WWII has become their foundation myth. It fulfils all three functions.
1) We live in the ‘Post-War World’. The lines on the map, the institutions, the sense of what era we live in, all arise from the starting point of WWII.
2) "Ultimate evil" is Nazis. "Ultimate good" is opposing Nazis. The values derived from these definitions are anti-racism, equality, diversity, anti-nationalism and so on.
3) The only thing that is held sacred, that cannot be denied or mocked in the contemporary West, is the Holocaust.
The problem is that all three functions are backwards or negative.
Instead of the origin event being one of fertility and new life, it was a conflagration of death and destruction.
Instead of ultimate good taking the central position in the story that slot is occupied by ultimate evil. Everyone knows that Adolf Hitler, the "personification of evil", holds the center point of the WWII story.
Instead of that which is held sacred being something mysterious and sublime it (the Holocaust) is an obscenity.

Basically jews sabotaged Germany during WW1 and started a civil war among many other things (see above videos), and continued their anti-indigenous-German subversion through the 20's and early 30's until Hitler took power. Jews were repeatedly asked to leave the country all through the 30's, most famously under the Haavara agreement.
After WW2 was under way, the jews that had refused to leave were put into camps, just like the Japanese-Americans the US put into camps. They were seen (rightfully) as a security risk. They were treated well by POW standards, better than the US treated the Japanese. Typhus was a major problem in the early 20th century. The camps were riddled with typhus (a disease spread by lice, hence ALL the camps having Zyklon B on site, it's a pesticide) and eventually as the war turned against Germany (24/7 bombings by the allies, invasions on 3 fronts, food and material supplies cut-off etc.) you saw a lot of disease and starvation in the camps... just like you saw in the German civilian population and what you would have saw in the US camps had the US come under such duress.

Zyklon B (a bug spray) is a piss-poor method of trying to kill people. In fact Zyklon-B was manufactured NOT to kill people. Zyklon-B is liquid hydrogen cyanide (HCN has a boiling point of 26ºC or 78ºF) infused into an inert substance like diatomaceous earth or wood chips. Hot air blowers are needed to vaporize the HCN. Talk of Zyklon-B being dumped into a gas chamber and people dying within minutes is physically impossible.
And why would the Germans use something as inefficient as Zyklon-B when they had 12,500 TONS (enough to kill 70 million people) of human killing Tabun nerve gas just sitting around unused?
