If there’s one thing rightists believe, it’s that they could beat leftists in a fight.
You see this attitude reflected again & again to the point that it’s ingrained in the rightist psyche. The right has guns, police and the military and leftists are all “soiboys”
The problem is that if you want to be in anyway effective at violence you’re going to need organization, no matter how much of an “Alpha Meat Eater” you are you’re still going to lose to 10 “soiboys” organized against you.
Organization requires time, communication, networking, and above all practice, and very few rightists are interested in doing the necessary work. Some of this is due to disillusionment. The total failure of the mainstream right has motivated a growing number of rightists to consider going post-politics. They think they cant achieve their goals through the political system; all that can is a reset, The Collapse. Until then the right sits in anticipation of the Collapse which he believes is inevitable because for his sake it has to be.
Yet even if there’s a collapse the organizational capacity required to seize the situation is the same organizational capacity Leftists have built to implement their will. So who’s in a better position to shape the big moment when it comes? Who’s got existing local networks of people who they’re used to turning out and doing stuff with on a regular basis? It’s not the Right.
Activism gives you practice. Practice for networking, for turnout, for speed, for working as a team. Anybody who’s ever tried to get five people together for dinner knows it’s a pain, but look at the short term leftist protests and see how many people the Left can turn out on next to no notice. Say there was a collapse forget having a detailed and specific plan do you (not some imaginary organization, Adolf Hitler 2.0) even know who you’re going to call?
