The only inconsistency with your timeline is that these vaping deaths were occurring well before any initial cases of the covid-19 were beginning to leak out. I'm still more curious over the bizarre flu-like-illness-that-wasn't-the-flu that broke out over my hometown right around the same time in December when we were all discussing the shitstorm over in China. the lab where this shit was made probably already had weaker versions at their disposal already. the vape illnesses were likely just one manifestation of this.

They still haven't shared their samples with us. They still haven't allowed anyone from outside China to come and help, let alone snoop around. I still think they stole something from the west and they were playing around with it in that lab, somebody fucked up, communism kicked in and they tried covering it up but it was a highly contagious disease so good luck with that lmao. Then they got a big idea and told their toadies at the WHO to downplay it long enough for the virus to spread globally so that China isn't the only nation stuck dealing with it. I toyed around with the idea that a less lethal strain was released in the US to counter the one the CCP had stolen from us, to immunize us to what was to come. Not everyone got the weaker strain though, areas with more Chinese traffic had more cases of the lethal strain. I'm pretty damn certain I already got the "vaccine" non-lethal strain back in December. Half my daughter's class was out sick just before Christmas break. I want to get an antibody test.
