I want to move to either Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas. Can you red pill me on the American Southwest? Where are the best places to live?

Austin, Texas suburbs

As a former Texan, it's santa fe
The better answer is PNW

Dallas is a nice area to move too right now. I'd say if you're lookin' to live most comfortably Texas is the best option out of those 3, maybe Phoenix is up there too, but Texas is just a nicer area overall.

fuck off we're full

Fuck off were full

Las Cruces NM

Las Cruces has a terrible economy stay TF away unless you're a boomer

arizona is absolute shit. Though I can only speak for Tempe az

>absolute shit weather right now. 100+ degrees
>full of aggressive homeless people
>passive aggressive people
>snobby douchebags who work at starbucks but max out their credit cards to pretend to be rich. In Scottsdale. Very pretentious people that makes you want to go full communism and murder them.

Only positive is there are so many blonde sluts here who go to Arizona State University. and qt latinas

TX seems like a better option. Better economy and cheaper. Phoenix area is getting expensive, though much cheaper than other parts of country for sure.

fuck off, we're full

It's northern Mexico, why would you want to live in the next California?

If you're white then League City, Texas is a nice place. It's just outside Houston so not to many negros around.

way too many homeless in the Southwest

New Mexico is a wasteland
Northern Arizona is just budget Colorado
Phoenix is suburban hell with 110+ degree heat every summer, but has the most jobs anywhere in Arizona by far
Tucson is pretty but 80% of the population are senior citizens or hispanic
Austin has the best jobs in the country right now. It's a hell of a city.
Houston is good too.
Avoid San Antonio and Dallas unless you feel more at home in the slums.

I thought Dallas metro area was richest part of TX and full of jobs?

and what is bad about San Antonio?

traffic and tolls.

I live in Tucson.

Trust me, it's only pretty from a distance

Every large city in Texas is bad with traffic. Especially Austin

I went to univ of arizona from 99-04. So comfy on campus. Came out there from chicago.

Sounds like a lot of people are leaning towards Texas. I’ve always been interested in Austin and only heard good things.

This unironically.. marble falls, liberty hill, Georgetown, cedar park/Leander

Montana is better.

Omg don’t dare think of San Antonio unless you are a spic

It’s all shit and Mexican, don’t move to the US

austin has been poisoned by cali transplants and is only getting worse. Houston is at least only in the nascent stages of getting poisoned by cali transplants, so there are still lots of open jobs. But I swear, every day I see more homeless people under the highways and more hipster sandwich joints pop up

Don't. Especially not AZ. Its a shithole thats 99% spics. Let them have it.

I am a Texan who lived in Montana... it’s not remotely better.. it’s actually terrible

They’re all spic infested shitholes. Northern Arizona is kinda nice tho.

Op I just spent a month out in albq/santa fe doing somatic experiencing and trauma release exercises. I like it a lot. Bernalillo area north of albq is comfy, Stayed at a bunch of AirBnB's in rio rancho and bernalillo. I play poker...so i was at sandia casino everyday, so its not like i was always out going around, but it was a beautiful area.

I have driven between az and chicago a lot. And the most surreal beautiful area is east of albq on the other side of the mountains. Comfy little towns and the wind blowing...dont get more americana than that.

Agreed. Houston might very well be the second worst in the nation.

Agreed, Seattle is great this time of year.

Come to College Station/Bryan.
Dirt cheap housing because college town, plentiful jobs, and just the right size so that you get a mix of small town and big city all in one. The people are some of the best folks around.

It's full of white methheads which are just as bad

College station is ok, hill country is better

Georgetown is such a nice little suburb-town.

It's actually hilarious how immigrants avoid NM like the plague and would sooner move midwest than live there. Less than 10% hispanic.
the homeless epidemic is real and none of them that you'll run in to are friendly.

Washington is full. Go to Oregon.

I've been all around the Southwest. I live in Albuquerque, born and raised, but spent time in Austin TX. I love Albuquerque because I'm a big fish and a small pond, but in Texas I need a degree to make the same money. Texas if you lean right, New Mexico if you lean left. Colorado is satanic, and Arizona is faux conservative. No matter where you go the drivers suck.

I moved to bryan/college station and the pay is good, housing is cheap, family is happy.

Austin is pretty gay.
I don't want you in dfw suburbs so move to like Amarillo or something faggot

What did you think of Breaking Bad user?

Rented a place on old college in early 2000s. 550/ month 2bed 1 bath.

It's Santa Fe. The PNW is 4 hipsters & queers.

I’m from Arizona. I wish I was from Texas. Colorado is chill. What are you looking for?

There's more in the pnw than the coast

Texas here

1. Texas hill country
2. Bryan college station
3. Waco
4. Woodlands
6. San Marcos
7. Boerne

Is Las Vegas considered Southwest? Housing is cheap as fuck and should go cheaper soon with the economy crash. Any anons got the scoop on Henderson or nicer vegas areas

I hate the cold sorry
I really liked it when I visited
I hate the rain and the cold so it seems like the most reasonable place in the US to move. I’m gonna get called out but I really like American folk music and westerns as well so it would be cool to be near all that.

Definitely Texas. I don’t know enough about the cities but it sounds like a lot of anons are saying Austin. Buy a pickup truck and eat delicious food
