was a real photo, but outside of NW, where the White House is along with the nicer parts of town such as Georgetown, you wouldn't even notice things are happening. I was really bummed since I saw one of my favorite bars get destroyed on a livestream sunday night/monday morning. NW is where all the wealthy people live. There has been literally no evidence of anything happening in SE at Navy Yard, and anything over the river farther SE is where the looters are probably coming from. NE situation I'm not too sure about but I imagine nothing serious has happened there.

I'm reading some tweets from local accounts. DC residents are pissed about the curfew and especially the cav charge yesterday. They apparently went up to dupont area and are holding out in yuppies homes. This will probably be a big news story and fuck the mayor but I don't care, I'm glad my apartment wasn't looted. They need to actually enforce the curfew though, people are still running around until 6am
