From what I've seen the government is doing their best to deny any stabbing even took place. They're discouraging people in Ireland from posting the video, the /r/Ireland subreddit has been made private and being purged of "racist" posts, and the GoFundMe for the stabbing victim was shut down. The guy who actually did the stabbing is either out on bail, or was never charged.
