"THE USSR WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!"

>was the second greatest nation on earth
>won the space race
>the greatest culture Russians have ever developed
I feel like the USSR can't be talked about without mentioning communism. Looking at the USSR from an objective viewpoint, no sane person would put it in the same league as Venezuela or some third world country. Notice how depressed russians became after the USSR and its culture vanished? I'd say one of it's strong points was its architecture. It was full of soul unlike western buildings.

early USSR was extremely jewish and russophobia, most older people nostalgic about late 70s-80s USSR.

Most have positive feelings towards Stalin, who existed earlier than that.

>the greatest culture Russians have ever developed
all their best writers and composers were pre-USSR

you should read more about early bolsheviks, they were literally a prototype of SJW

Huh how so?

Going into space didn't improve their lives one bit. And it's not like they invented space travel tech despite talking as if they did because most of it came from Europe.

Overrated alternative who's adherents will never learn how to do better.

Have you ever communicated with a nostalgic Russian who's still a Soviet at heart? They're exactly the same as the sjw nutjobs in the West but they're more subtle about it.

Things are complicated and not what it seems my fren. No sane person in Russia wants return of USSR. And think of Stalin only as a strong leader who gets shit done in comparison to our modern liberal political class.

How many millions of Russians died so A few could prosper?

Communism isn't equality for all, it's equality for what's left of the poor masses and ludicrous power and riches for a few.

USSR was horrible and its still ok to regret its collapse. Millions of lives were paid for USSR to organize, become what it is, advance both in freedom aspect and as state, and all in vain because some drunk faggots though they`d get more power being local Lords legally.

There is no mistake there were horrible times in USSR , but it had 80 years of nations time invested and its collapse was a biggest disaster for all involved. It could have transitional to more liberal and economically free country normal way, without the "shock".

People don't miss Gulags (it was thing of the past anyway at time) or lack of food choice, people miss the Greatness of belonging to real world power, unity of the nations and losing much of social, economic, scientific, and every other progress the country made in 20th century.

>have positive view towards authoritarian asshole
>or die

Who gives a shit about what a bunch of old Russian people think?

Yeah, you obviously know nothing about pre revolution Russia. No disputing the disastrous things happening after, it was huge leap for a country forward, and for future generations of people as well - becoming both more free and prosperous.

No matter how you stand to the ideology, there is no denial that what Soviet and China both did in bringing their people from complete ruin to progress is near miracle. Albeit miracle at huge cost.

Calling The Soviet Union a communist country is about as honest as calling North Korea a democratic republic.

When you have no qualms with killing hundreds of millions of people, you can force through any accomplishments imaginable.

Dude, you never lived there
There was litterally nothing to eat, as my ancestors say, everybody was poor and shit
To get a car my grandfather waited for 12 years, to get an apartment 15. That's is the reason eldery don't want to chose another president other than Putin, because they think that what we have now is the best option like atleast they are have a lot of different stuff in local stores

>killing hundreds of millions of people
That only happened in US own and spanish history, with America`s native people. USSR did not anything of that magnitude, the worst thing that happened was starvation due to collectivisation. Chinese cultural revolution also did not bring progress. Progress in both countries was made despite the bad periods, not because.

So the left ARE bootlickers what a surprise. NoT.

>There was litterally nothing to eat, as my ancestors say, everybody was poor and shit
Well, thats a bullshit unless your ancestors are 90+ years old. What most people "reminiscent" about is 80ths years - there was no food sortage, there was little variety of food because of planned economy failures.

You also dont value the fact that your ancestors, and now probably you own an appartment you got completely for free and complain as it was some failure of the state. Everywhere else, you`d never have one - most of Europe still lives on rent slavery and only way to get house/appartment is buying one, slaving decade to pay for one.

> collectivisation forced onto the population by the state

>as opposed to litteral slavery of subservient peasants and actual starvation
Once again, Russian Empire at the point was absolutely not better for most people.

>Starving hundreds of millions because of ignorant farming methods forced into practice by the government is fine
>Forced labour camps are fine

There is no better way to improve a country than to let a quarter of it's people die

Retard.
Those numbers have been droping since putin has rebounded the economy.

Дa нeт,в вocьмидecятыe былo нe лyчшe,y мoeй мaтepи дaжe фoтки ocтaлиcь,гдe eй кyпили нoвыe caпoги и этo oтмeчaли вceй ceмьeй. That's the only type of communism we have in stock, sorry for inconvenience.

>Starving hundreds of millions because of ignorant farming methods forced into practice by the government is fine
In reality, as incompetent bolsheviks were, they did not intentionally starve people. The opposite was true - people all around Russia already WERE starving, and thus it was required to amass all the food and redistribute among different regions. As bolsheviks are, they did fuck shit, with the task - but it fulfilled its purpose, actually awoiding mass starvations. (and once again, actually look into Russian Empire past pre and past WW1 - people were dieing in many thousands yearly from hunger in regions).

What did the USSR ever to for Afro-Trans rights?

A тeпepь cпpocи y них, чтo твopилocь в 90e и пoймeшь пoчeмy люди хoтeли oбpaтнo в 80e.

That’s not true, Stalin even here is seen as an evil tyrant. However credit is given where it is due, he held the USSR together during a dire time.

Ukrainian user is mostly right, people are nostalgia for post 60s time period. Nobody cares for the ideology itself, they yearn for the stability of those times. The communist party is nearly non existent in former USSR states for that reason. Praise for the USSR from Russians has generally nothing to do with communism. Nobody would ever want the pre-WW2 USSR back.

shut the fuck up tankie not even the bottom feeders here are retarded enough to fall for your bullshit propaganda
