Every once in a while it dawns on me that burgers don't get how german politics are designed and why getting rid of Merkel by vote was impossible to begin with. Here's the explanation:
Look, german politics work different. A party like Merkel's CDU doesn't need more than 50% of the votes. They can form coalitions with other parties, which is what is happening all the time. They can technically even ally with the opposition to get above 50%.
The right (CDU) and the left party (SPD) are basically the same and most of germans are voting one of those. CDU got 30%, SPD got 24%, they allied which makes for 54% and now they rule the country. Third place was AfD 11%, but noone wants to ally with them. Then there's "Die Grünen" which is the green party, which makes them basically the same as CDU and SPD again. And then there's the FDP which is the capitalist party which has mainly economic goals.
This makes for four parties that can form a coalition to basically continue the same shit as before election. And that's exactly what's been happening for 16 years. Only a third ok germans ACTUALLY voted for Merkel, she won because the CDU formed coalitions with other parties to get above 50% all the time. And if the SPD was the party with 30% we woudl have gotten Martin Schulz ... remember the Schulz Train? Even worse. Much worse.
Summed up: It's impossible to get rid of Merkel by vote and germany will forever by ruled by the same elite because votes don't matter at all in this system.
you didn't mention that anyone NOT voting those four parties is immediately called racist or conspiracy nut and excluded from society

Doesn't she have the shakes? Might end her political career.

That story is long forgotten here. Corona basically killed all topics that existed before it.

>muh chink The mutts wont have cookies for their atlantik brücke subhuman slaves with all that is going on.
Ferkel is a polish kike communist, punkt.
Grayson Wilson
even if they didnt vote for her directly lots of germans are still content with her. which i dont get because she makes my fucking skin crawl. I always wondered "why am I the only one that finds her fucking creepy?" she just seems so... not human to me. like a fat praying mantis or some shit
So stop contributing to this system. Why would you work for your oppressors?

I really don't think you are the only one, it's just that there are literally no alternatives. I mean, who do you think will win next time since Merkel is stepping down? Olaf Scholz? Habeck? There are no credible leaders anymore. And so Mutti seemed to be the less of two evils for many I guess.
You know, the trick about germany is that it's fucking comfy, safe and wealthy. Living here is in many ways much better than living anywhere else in the world. And so the lullaby of comfortable living sings most of germans to sleep.
Easton Evans
>comfy, safe and wealthy Not in the big cities.
Hudson Anderson
Because the majority of boomers are mindless fucking consumer drones, there nothing more to it.
Literally 99.99% of people are full NPCs except for the few turbo autists like us who can see threw the societal games
Right, but people living in the big cities are the same people that embrace our leadership with open arms and want it to turn left even more, so they don't see a problem with burger-style city demographics.
Angel Turner
I know the alternatives suck but she is literally stasi = evil. if only people could read between the lines.. I mean the information is out there as well. she literally studied and got a Phd in the DDR while HER FATHER WAS A FUCKING PASTOR that was basically impossible right?
Adrian Rogers
She was an IM and was used to spy on Robert Havemann.
I repeat - what are the alternatives? You can't vote for anyone. So the only way would be full-scale revolution with only a part of the population supporting it. Which basically means civil war, which is what's happening in the U.S. soon. Do you want the same shit that's happening in the U.S. right now to happen over here? I don't, to be honest.
Carter Bell
I was always bothered by this, essentially it's a dictatorship. but I guess kikes are behind this soo...yeah
You complain too much about her. You have a leader who has been carrying out economic projects for many years, fights for domination on the international arena and maintains good relations with others in the world. It's just a matter of migrants, but that's about it. I envy you a good leader.
The only thing changing is which people are telling the same shit on TV, which gives germans the illusion of democracy.
Angel Walker
I party agree. Merkel made us a lot richer and more influential during those 16 years. We basically rule what's left of the EU now. I just wanted to point out to burgers that that's not a conscious decision by the people, because the people don't influence shit over here.
Owen Johnson
I know man. people should have voted for stoiber in 2002 I guess, SPD failing was foreseeable. rather that idiot than stasi, that information wasnt exactly top secret back then either.
The polish kike obviously had to keep the gravy going in and poverty at an acceptable level, lest pooland be taken care of again, lol.
In all scenarios, pooland is a slave to us, kekekek

How is it possible to be this good, this special, this different (for the better) at literally everything? God, im proud to be a german slave

I can ask the same with Orbán

The other day my grandmas friends came over and one of them is a very smart guy that I look up to, but he said "Die Amerikaner sind keine Demokratie, das ganze System da ist kaputt." and it was really hard to keep my yap closed and not say that we ain't got it any better.

I think it should be mentioned that media neutrality can never be guaranteed in our current system.
State Media is directly financed by how much politicians deem is necessary as GEZ fee on the citizen. So, the amount of money every person working for ARD, ZDF etc. literally depends on politicians good will to keep these fees as they are, or raise them further. The instances set in place to control the state media however, is full of politicians. Even the board of directors includes ex politicians.
So you get a system where media and state work hand in hand, as they are both 100% depending on each others goodwill.
Not to mention that even if you would be a 100% leftie, lowering the fee for our beloved media would get you in their focus because you negatively impact their overinflated salary.
Angel Martinez
Just vote her out ya damn noobs

People vote for Mutti especially the older generations beacase of the gibs.

It is difficult to talk about any poverty today when there is excess food. We will probably be even poorer for 30 years if the demographic and other indicators do not change.
Ordinary people always have no word in the state, but only choose the people who represent them, and they have no idea who they really are. German chosen ones have enormous power and I would say autonomy. Now Germany is hesitating whether to choose the American route or the Chinese route. American troops are in Europe to defend against excessive German strength - anyway it was earlier. The overall goal is also to defend against Russia. Russia is weak, weaker and weaker, and I rather suspect that it will ally with the US against China. Russia has no demographic potential to defend such huge borders.
American troops are in Poland, because here is a defensive field for Western Europe. It sounds strange, but literally all countries between the Baltic and the Black Sea have been treated by hegemons as temporary states for almost 200-300 years.
... For those not knowing: Germans have to pay 210€ a year per household to finance government led TV stations. No, you can't object. Been tried many times, only ends in paying fines in addition to the fee.
