There's rumours that antifa are going to be making an appearance because of the low police presence.
The organiser has been sharing posts about toppling statues.
I urge people in the area to show up to protect war memorial from these antifa scum.

MP's don't have any powers of arrest over civilians except citizens arrest. Wouldn't be surprised to see them there but you're seriously overestimating the amount of police that will be available, unless they start bussing them in. However, and it's a big however, if there's similar protests in cities they'll likely send them there instead and leave the town largely defenceless.
