I'm all for reparations in the form of loans and grants for small black business owners, as well as extra subsidized educational benefits to create a more equal playing field for low income blacks who have been affected by Reagan's economic policies.

The idea that people who have had very little money, have very little awareness of how to save money, and live in communities afflicted by gun violence and drug usage should get free money for doing nothing upsets me, because in all likelihood it will just increase drug usage, gun violence, and other forms of violent crime within these communities. It seems like a step backwards. No one was ever just handed free money in the history of the world unless someone in their lineage earned it.

Everyone should have an opportunity to earn it.
