Colleges are designed to bleed money out of people and while it's good for certain degrees, apprenticeships and on-job training for most careers would be for the best. It's not rare for college students to state they learned more during their internships then in classes.

A lot of it is a massive waste of time and opportunity cost. Unfortunately for some careers you need higher education training that trade schools don't offer. Like electrical engineering. I would say that the vast majority of these useful STEM degrees that make money could teach students everything they need to know for the work force in 2 maybe three years tops. Unfortunately these programs often take 4 or 5 sometimes even 6 years to complete because of how the whole system is structured. Students are required to take so many wasteful and pointless (((general education))) courses. Only a handful are useful and that's only if you major in STEM because you'll take physics or mathematics as a general ed. Even then you still have to take Nigger Dance Theory or some crap 2-3 times over before you can leave.
I would really like to see the degree requirements from jobs dropped so smart people who are good at self study or have a genuine passion can get into these STEM degrees. Almost all of them you can teach yourself and learn more as you meet others studying the same thing.
A lot of trades will have an income floor that you will hit before a college STEM graduate. Unless you start your own business which is not practical for everyone and not everyone has the aptitude. Only some trades actually pay well and they require almost the equivalent to a college education. Most highly skilled tradesmen have at least an AA degree from a community college based on their field. Most good trades end up doing the field work for those corporations that hire poos to make jew shit.
Pretty much this. I think many people would benefit immensely if STEM fields like engineering were removed from higher education universities. Move them from an academic surrounding to a vocational surrounding. People can easily learn computer science in two years or electrical engineering. Then really begin their learning from a younger age through a work internship

College is so important to some people, especially the boomers. my folks are boomers, im 33 and the only one of entire extended to not have a college degree, even like the long dead grandmas went to college even back then. My parents hate that I don't have one because somehow it makes them look bad. after living like a poor and sometimes homeless degenerate for the last 15 years my parents found out I was trying to go to college. My folks now pay my rent gave me their old truck pay for my school and send me money. The fact they offer worthless degrees that have no use in society. And decide you want to go into STEM, and create something, they force you to take half of your credits as useless classes and they call it a "general education."
If you can go to a community college and earn a degree in engineering or any of the natural sciences as a bachelors on your way to a master's or PhD it would be useful. It seems the only thing you can get from community college is a trade, or a stepping stone to a university, and they still make you take those classes you will never use. It bleeds money from people, and they can do it because they know people WILL do it. That is why tuition is so high, you get rid of gooberment funded loans, you get rid of high tuition.
