Everything crazy change we've seen in the past 10 years has been due to extroverted people being able to use the internet 24/7. This place (the internet) was never meant for the average normie to use, let alone some extroverted faggot whose mind is so uninteresting they need to be "out and about" with people 24/7.
Banning smartphones wouldn't be a true "ban" for those people from the internet. But if they value being outside constantly and not thinking and pondering in a NEET lair all day, there opinion is worth much less and they shouldn't be able to express it on here.
Things like BLM, 3rd wave feminism, didn't take off until people got smart phones. It allowed people of lower socioeconomic status to use the internet. A high percentage of these people were women, and blacks, who lived in poor areas. They didn't really get the "benefits" of feminism yet, and still had some small amount racism. They instantly started to bitch and moan online and for some reason if something is in printed text on a screen, people take it seriously.
These people's constant bitching seems to have changed peoples perception of reality. Most areas already were inclusive of women 20 years ago and treated them equally. Same thing with blacks. Now because we let these poor fags and extroverted faggots use the internet, all the areas that were actually equal, have now over corrected a fuck ton and we are living in a clown world.
I don't think it would be that crazy to do this, they could still use all the websites they want to, it just limits people (poorfags with low IQ that need to be around people constantly, rich white women are extroverted af) from using it constantly. Therefore their opinions won't be online as much, and people won't feel like they exist in as large of numbers. The rich already severely limit their use of these devices because they know how bad they are for them. Similar to how rich people figured out smoking was bad before poor people did. It wasn't long after that smoking in public places was banned. Smart phones should have the same thing done.
The biggest hurdle to doing this will be businesses. It has made it easier for employees to work while they are supposed to be experiencing a "day off" because they have a handheld computer on them at all times. Perhaps the argument could be made that the phone slows productivity while in the office itself though, as it allows employees to use facebook/reddit/instagram/etc.
If I was in charge of things, I would seriously look into banning smart phones. It is a public health issue, its making everyone go fucking crazy. People wouldn't be locked in 24/7 and feel the anxiety of the news chasing them around all day. Then in turn, they would be less crazy themselves, and less crazy news would happen.

We need eugenics, otherwise human society will never survive without being stuck at a 1400s level of technology. It will take about 5000 years or more to adapt naturally. That's too long, we will be brown within 100 without intervention.
internet needs to be expensive thatll solve most of the problems

Agree user. Social media is a plague. Responsible desktop social media should be ok, but this smartphone zoomer cuckshit is the absolute worst and amplifies the worst “voices.”
Smart phone ownership is at 81% now in the USA. I don't think it's completely unrelated that BLM is hitting critical mass now. There is definitely a relationship between the two.
Yes, I agree with that too. I don't think banning social media is that enforcable. As people will find different ways to communicate online in a similar manner. But you still can control the physical space to an extent (maybe not so much in a few cucked cities though). If you can enforce things like smoking in public spaces, you can enforce not using smart phones. People wouldn't be going to these protests if they couldn't live stream videos, tweet pictures, show themselves on instagram etc. There would not be the incentive. People would still post and virtue signal from home, but they wouldn't be making the effort to go outside and do it.
Do you know how much tech companies are able to cut wages every time a H1B worker comes into the USA? Welp, too much money, guess we better give up on limiting immigration too! Fuck you cuck.
I do believe constantly being connected to the internet is bad, in many ways. One thing I think about frequently is how many "smart devices" everyone has. The fact they are all constantly connected is a huge attack vector. They provide little convenience to the user as well.
That's like saying you just stop shooting paratroopers and using mustard gas the other side will see how cool it is and just stop doing it too. This needs to be a policy thing where we all agree that despite the fact we can gain competitive advantage over someone who doesn't have a smartphone, it isn't worth the bullshit it introduces into society.
The only reason I won't just give my smartphone up is because my employers would be like "wtf how do you not have a smartphone, how are you going to get emails while not at the computer? How will you find your way to job sites without a GPS?" etc.
Basically its like if you didn't accept agriculture and stayed as a hunter gatherer, you got beat down and erased by the larger more powerful city states that emerged from embracing it.
Young people who give up their smart phones now won't be able to connect with their peers, get jobs, etc. You basically have to be a recluse. I think you need to obtain support for the idea first, then if you have large groups of people doing it, employers can't require it, you now have a social group of people to interact with etc.

actually, i agree. the internet was better when it was a haven for introverts seeking a break from the world.

the biggest mistake was giving women and dark-skinned minorities quick, easy access to the internet. they literally cannot handle it. the internet was so much better when it was mostly white and asian guys

Internet is a dangerous weapon. More than fair and right that it is regulated.
You cannot have every sicko using it. Think about the children!

The internet used to be a white country. Smartphones were basically boats for the refugees to come in on. I find it funny they were basically free with a plan at the beginning because they knew Jamal would never shell out 1200 bucks to have a "handheld computer". So basically the rich paid for browns and womenz to invade a white male space.
I agree, over emotional creatures should be barred from the internet.
